Born and raised in Senegal, West Africa, Bineta Ngom grew up without her father who passed away when she was four years old. She lived with her mother who taught her how to appreciate life and serve people in need, even when her family was going through hard times.
At the age of sixteen, Bineta felt that her purpose was to help women and children. Her experience in life after her father's death was an eye opening.
Coming to America has broaden her vision. She took advantage of her loneliness and culture chock to developed the self-awareness she needed to have a fulfilled life.
She created Family Bridge foundation, a non profit organization whose vision is to improve women and children's lives in Senegal, and serve the homeless in Los Angeles where she lives with her family.
Bineta's hobbies include reading books to improve herself, meditating, and being creative in her kitchen.
