About the Author

Tanya Lloyd Kyi is the award—winning author of more than thirty books for children and young adults. She often writes about science, history, and activism. Tanya's recent titles include Our Green City, What Will I Discover? and Bompa's Insect Expedition, co—written with David Suzuki. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Julia Kyi is a student and youth activist. Julia is an avid user of Instagram and a believer in the power of social media to make positive change. She is a co—founder of The Daily Feminist, an organization that offers resources and workshops for feminist education. She’s planning to complete a social justice degree before applying to law school. Julia lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Vivian Rosas is a Toronto based queer Mestizx/Latinx multidisciplinary artist who seeks to explore themes of feminism, empowerment and diversity within her work. Her goal is to create imagery that expresses a sense of inclusiveness for underrepresented communities. Her practices include illustration, murals and dance.
