Love this whole story line!

I was sent a digital ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Anyone who knows me knows I am a big fan of Kit Rocha's work. I was lucky enough to have won a copy of the first installment in the "Beyond" series, and I was hooked from there, this book was no different. However, people who know me also know that I have been getting a tad bit tired of the predictable formula for the book. I don't blame the authors necessarily. It's a popular, tried and true formula that keeps readers coming back. But it does tend to get a little redundant. Around book three I noticed the pattern, then it started showing up in the novellas, then they started making less and less sense. These are O'Kane women. They're known throughout the entire world of the novels as being badass, take no prisoner kind of girls. Why do all these men keep insisting on trying to fight their battles? Now this book was a little different in the set up, but still. I understand this is dystopia, the world is exploding around them, but these characters can't communicate through 90% of the story and I don't see how that can create any sort of stability in their relationships. And it seems like that's important to these characters. That even if they're feisty and snarky, they pick their partner and stick it out until the end. It also seems like the relationships are getting more and more accelerated. At the end of "Beyond Shame" Jas and Noelle weren't saying they loved each other. They knew they did, they said they loved things about each other, but they never said the words "I love you", which was understandable. For all intents and purposes, they had just met. Dallas and Lex had been building for a decade, so their relationship was anything but rushed. Bren and Six weren't together that long, but he had helped rebuild her and was the first person she trusted and they were still around each other an extended period of time before they started expressing and acting on interest. But as the books go on, it seems as if these relationships are becoming more sped up and getting really seious, really fast. Like I said earlier, I get that the world is ending, but that doesn't change the way people fall in love. It might make people seize the day as far as their lust goes, but love? It still takes time. You might fall hard and fast, but that usually won't last the way these books make them out to. I get that's how most romance novels are, it doesn't make it any more realistic. The last three little complaints I have I'll just quickly touch on because they're mostly about personal preference. I don't really get or enjoy the fact that Gia is so mixed up in everyone's romantic past- especially because we aren't learning anything about her as a character. I don't like how some of the couples seem to stop existing. By that I mean that characters seem to disappear. Noah never mentions Emma, Zan isn't seen with Tatiana....It's as if they don't matter now that they've had their little moment to shine in a short extra to the series. All that being said, I did enjoy the book. It's definitely the one I've enjoyed the most since "Beyond Addiction" so it definitely looks like the series will go out with a bang, which I am very happy (and was a little wary) about. I can't wait until the final book. This installment has re-invigorated my love for the series to the point that I am definitely going to continue with the spin off- something I wasn't sure of before this story.

Beyond Ecstasy is the 8th full novel in the Beyond series, which is getting close to its exciting conclusion - though no worries for long time fans, there is a spin off in the works that promises to be just as erotic and intense as this series has been. If you haven't read the series yet, you'll want to start at the beginning as the world building is a continuous story arc throughout, even though each novel has focused on a complete romance between two (or more) characters. And it's impossible to review this story without giving away some of the previous events that have happened, so there are a few spoilers from previous books in this review. A war between Eden and the Sectors is looming. Eden has fired several salvos already, including electrifying the wall surrounding it and bombing Sector 3. Dallas and his O'Kane brethren have been expecting things to happen so they aren't wholly unprepared. To that end, Dallas has been solidifying power, and making alliances with the current leaders of the other Sectors. Sector 6 is Hawk's home, and the agricultural heart of what remains of this pocket of civilization. Though Hawk is an O'Kane now through and through, he knows that to beat Eden at their own game he has to convince his mother and other families in Sector 6 to be ready to leave at a moment's notice, with the intention of salting and burning the fields during their retreat so that Eden will not get their bounty. Hawk's had his eye on Jeni, a former daughter of Eden and a bona fide city girl for some time. She's like the rest of the O'Kane women, comfortable with her sexuality and her place in Sector 4. She's gently rebuffed Hawk's advances, concerned about breaking his heart when she'd only be interested in sex, but time is running out now. Hawk's not going to give up his idea of having her permanently in his life, and Jeni is fully aware of how precarious that life is. Amidst the chaos of preparation for war, can these two find the strength to make a bond that will last? This story is more of a traditional romance (if one can say that of any romance in the Beyond world) with its focus mostly on Hawk and Jeni and the complicated nature of their relationship. It's a boy meets girl, boy collars girl, boy and girl fight, boy and girl make up story, in a nutshell, but with lots of twists and turns and dirty sex along the way. Hawk and Jeni go about things a little backwards than a typical relationship. Instead of spending time getting to know each other well, they leap head first into a dominance and submission relationship where Jeni accepts Hawk's collar and all that it means, without understanding what that will look like in reality. Hawk is a one woman man, and that woman is Jeni, and though she readily admits she wants to be that woman for Hawk, the desperation of the times results in rash decisions that don't go as hoped. With the exception of one threesome scene the sex is monogamous between the two, and they each get something out of the power situation that turns them on. But there comes a point in the story where the choices they each have to make could spell the end for them as a couple. There were several times I was reading with my heart in my mouth, and I was glad to get to the end of the story, and a happy ending for Hawk and Jeni. I can't wait to get to the exciting finale! 4.5 stars.

Best book I have read in a long time. Love the story of Hawks and Jenny! Can't wait for the next book. This book made me cry and laugh and just fall more in love with the company.

If you haven't read any previous books in this series, Beyond Ecstasy isn't the place to start. Too much happens here, and has happened in the series to date, and to really enjoy it you need the background laid in the pervious books. In fact, go back to the beginning (Beyond Shame) and enjoy the series in its proper order. It's well worth reading all of the Beyond books anyway. They're well written dystopian fantasy, with interesting characters, steamy sex, and engrossing plots. But be warned, the books are addictive and while each is a complete story, the greater plot arcs across all the entire series, so one you start, you'll want to read them all. If you've already been reading the Beyond series then you're in for a treat. This is hands down my favorite book to date. Jenni and Hawk are great together and the war with Eden really escalates here. While this love story has echoes of previous ones (Jas and Noelle from Beyond Shame come to mind in particular), it still feels fresh and unique, and the growing war adds a nice level of underlying tension and urgency. I devoured this book, but often found myself flipping back to reread a passage and savor the story as long as possible. I'm not sure if the next (and final) book in the series will be able to top this one, but I can't wait to find out. Note: I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. (But I love the author and this series and would have bought the book anyway!)

If I could rate this book 10 stars, I would. This series is absolute GOLD. I love the world that the writing duo known as Kit Rocha has created for us. Hot. Steamy. Romantic. Touching. Emotional Roller Coaster. I could go on and on. So, in case you aren't familiar with the series, there's all this stuff going on in the world and with each book, we get that story but we also get a different couple's story. In this book, we got to see how things happened to get Hawk and Jeni together. It's such a roller coaster ride. One WELL worth every tear shed and every laugh. Each new book that comes out, each couple, I think to myself that I can totally relate to that couple. Each couple becomes my new favorite couple. But honestly, they are ALL my favorites.

There are few things I like more in a story than two imperfect people falling in love and making their relationship work, regardless of the obstacles. That is exactly what Hawk and Jeni do in this latest Beyond book. I LOVED reading Hawk and Jeni's story! Not only was it sweet and sentimental, but it was HOT!!! Hawk and Jeni do not have a traditional O'Kane romance. They break rules and make new ones in order to stay together! I also lived getting a glimpse of Sector 6, catching up with Gia, and getting a peak into Eden. This was an awesome book for anyone who is a fan of the Beyond books, or any other dystopian romance. I LOVED this book and cannot wait for the rest of the series!

I absolutely loved Hawk and Jeni's story. They were intense from the very beginning, as they have waited for each other for months! I really enjoyed how we got to see Hawk grow into his and Jeni's relationship and his dominance, it was a little different from the rest of the relationships in the series. I really liked seeing him in his element when they go see his family. Actually, I loved reading from his POV for most of the book. This is probably one of the fastest paced novels of the series with the war in full swing. Getting to see how strong the O'kanes have become, how they have branched out to the other sectors but are still O'kanes through and through, is pretty awesome. There were twists and turns, what the heck moments, and hot as hell sex worthy of any O'kane book. I LOVED seeing the tidbits for the next book...or 2, so exciting! If you are an avid fan of Kit Rocha, you won't be disappointed.

I perticularly loved this book, maybe because of how they felt about love and loss. Beautiful story. Waiting impatiently for more. Thanks for your creativity and the joy you bring us by using it.

I am a big fan of this book series. It is a great escape to fall into the dystopian world of the Sectors. Each book has been a fun insight into the sexy, challenging, and downright interesting lives each character lives with the O’Kanes. This book was especially intriguing and my favorite of the series by far. Not only is the situation with the enemy coming to a serious head (pun intended), but Hawk is just beginning to uncover his dominant style. This book takes a fresh look at a point in a relationship when the roles and style of the dominant person are being discovered and how he learns those perfect moves. Every other book in this genre seems to have a perfect Dom who already knows it all. You can’t help but wonder what it was like for him or her to get to that place. With Hawk and Jenni we get to see what that journey together looks like as they fall in love and learn how to satisfy each other and stay true to their desires. It is literally smoking hot! If you are a fan of this series you will be anxiously begging for the next book. It left me so curious to know what happens next.

My favorite of the series! War has come to the sectors but the O'Clan's are rallying together to fight. In the middle of the turmoil Hawk and Jeni find each other and love.

The next-to-last book in the bestselling BEYOND series... The O’Kanes have a reputation for working hard and playing harder—except for Hawk. He joined the gang with one goal: to ensure his family’s survival through the impending war with Eden. It’s been years since he had the luxury of wanting anything for himself. Now, he wants Jeni. From the first moment he saw her, he’s been obsessed with making her his. Not for a night—forever. Jeni’s been lusting after the former smuggler for months, but he keeps shutting her down. She’s almost given up on getting him in her bed when he offers her the last thing she ever expected—a collar. Accepting it means belonging to him, body and soul. It’s a reckless gamble, but Jeni can’t resist the chance to slip under Hawk’s armor. The only thing more shocking than the dark, dangerous pleasure they discover is how right it feels. But falling in love is even more reckless when forever is far from guaranteed. Because they aren’t just at war, they’re out of time—and every breath could be their last. Review: War is Here! I am going to try to give a spoiler free review here, so sorry if I am vague. I think this is my new favorite in the series, though it is so hard to pick because I love all the O'Kanes. Of course it is full of sexy goodness, but it almost takes a backseat to the drama unfolding in the sectors. I don't think I have cried in any of the other books, but I did in this one. War is here and unfortunately war is not pretty or easy. As they plan and prep for what lies ahead the O'Kanes work together to protect what is theirs and we get to see and catch up with everyone and see how they work and love as a group. Though this is Jeni and Hawk's love story we get glimpses of other love stories and books to come. Jeni and Hawk have been lusting from afar for months and boom they go from 0 to 60 as far as love is concerned in a matter of days. This leads to problems because they jumped so quickly because they are afraid of what may happen in the future. Of course they hurt each other and have to figure out a way to heal. Jeni like the other O'Kane women is fierce, she is also super smart and just so likable as a character. Hawk has always been kind of an enigma to me, I loved that we got to see more of where he came from and his family, it made me like even more. I am going to leave it at that to not spoil it, but I will say be prepared for lots of combat, drama and loving. One more note, this is a series that really should be read in order to fully appreciate the continuing story line and to get the most enjoyment out of the books. 5Stars *Received a copy of this book from the Author's in exchange for a fair and honest review.*

I need so many more stars!!!! I can't believe one of my favorite series is coming to an end!!! But in true Kit Rocha fashion, it will end in a bang, I am sure!!! This is, for the most part, Hawk & Jeni's book. Their story is fantastic!!! With war on the horizon everything seems so much more... More intense! More important! Just MORE!!!!! The feeling, oh my, just so much!!!! I absolutely adored this book, as I have EVERY book in this series!!!! Lots of tears, some smiles & laughs. I can't wait to see what happens in Beyond Surrender.

The next to the last book in the series and things are more intense than ever! Jeni and Hawk have always been side characters to me, but this book brings them front and center and what a fantastic couple they make. They had great chemistry from the very beginning. I loved what a tough guy Hawk was, but also so sensitive (he blushes!). He's been watching Jeni and wants her bad. He wants to give her everything and build a future with her. And Jeni desires him just as badly, but is afraid to dream of a future with war being imminent. Hawk and Jeni's first trip to Sector Six really opened them up to one another and helped bring them together. As we've come to expect, the sex scenes in this book were scorchingly hot! It's their second trip to Sector Six where things start unraveling. I'm really stoked about this story arc. The tension between the Sectors and Eden has finally exploded. And this is war. There were some really difficult scenes to wade through and a couple of times I gasped out loud and even shed a tear. Things are getting ugly. The last 25% of the book had me on the edge of my seat. And Dallas letting Noah "off the leash" at the end -- oh yeah. It's on now. I'm ready for the next book, please.

This story just dragged me in immediately, I loved it! A war is coming and The O'Kanes are on the alert. Dallas and the rest of the sectors are just waiting for the enemy to strike. But first they all have to be warned and put up their defences. But hot sex can never be ignored in The O'Kanes world, and this story introduces us to Hawk and Jeni. Hawk is a farmer as well as a fighter and he is really needed right now as it's not just food that is needed, and he has had his eye on Jeni for a while now. Jeni know's Hawk has been watching her, but what will it take to push him that extra that's needed to get him in her arms. I loved Hawk, he was a very sensitive guy who would do anything for the woman in his dreams and Jeni turned out to be that woman and she had some dreams on her mind too that she wanted with her hot guy. This was a tense story as danger got closer and closer and it gets harder knowing who to trust as spies are suspected. Will the O'Kanes and their fellow sectors be ready when they need to be? There's only one story left, I sad, but I can't wait for the conclusion. This has been one of my favourite series! 5/5

I loved this book, the chemistry between Jeni and Hawk was off the charts and the sex scenes were O'Kane scorching hot. The story arc continues on from the last book with the continuation of the war between the sectors and Eden and includes a couple of visits to Sector 6 the first of which gives you an insight as to why Hawk is the way he is and a chance to meet his family This book includes plenty of catch up with previous characters and I loved how they all looked out for Jeni and Hawk as they started the journey to becoming a couple. The later half of the book is where the drama starts and its very emotional in parts as you start to realise what the people will have to do to win the war against Eden. I cant wait to read the next book to find out what happens even though it will be the last book in this series

Some books you skim through the pages, some books you savor each page. I savored this book. Eden is on lock-down. The Sectors are preparing for a military confrontation. This book has details on how the O’Kanes (and everyone else) prepare for this confrontation. This is also Hawk and Jeni’s book. They come together wonderfully and are tragically pulled apart. I loved the details of Hawk’s growing up on the farm. I cried for Hawk and Jeni. Beyond Ecstasy has lots of twists and turns and I never knew which way they were going. Beyond Ecstasy contains great suspense as well as great erotic romance. I eagerly await the final installment of the Beyond series.

This was well worth the wait, Hawk and Jeni bridge the sectors and Eden. I know beyond must end, but I so enjoy all the characters and can't wait for the last book. I highly recommend this book and this series.
