Big Bad Billionaire by Saranna DeWylde

Blake Woolven is the bad boy CEO of Woolven Industries, but he's badder than the luscious, BBW Randi Rutger would've guessed. After Woolven took down her father's company and devoured it like a shaking rabbit, she's determined to get close to him and make all the Woolvens pay for destroying her father. Blake knows Randi's agenda, but the wolf inside him will do anything to have her. Even expose the Woolven family secret. When Randi sees Blake and his brothers shed their skins beneath the moon, she's terrified. But it's just what she needed to bring him low-that and the silver nitrate plasma gun her father designed. With her loyalties torn, Randi must choose between avenging her father and the big bad wolf who clawed his way into her heart.

I absolutely LOVE this book. The characters are just everything you could ever want in a romance plus you get the shifter action to go along with it. There was a prequel that played so perfectly into this and led us in with enough background to wet our appetites but it in no way prepared me for the awesomeness of this story. Also, you don't have to read the prequel to get into this book although I would recommend it highly.  Blake and Randi are just two completely wonderful characters that are so extremely similar. They are both strong, stand up people that don't even realize at first what all they do have in common. Their love story was the kind that makes you sigh when they come together, there was just so much honesty and love that shone through.  This book is fast-paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire way through. At no point does the action or story slow down, I didn't find myself drifting in any parts are rushing through to get done with them, I was totally engaged from start to finish. I am extremely excited about this new world that we are introduced to, there are just so many characters and I can't wait to see where the mind of Saranna DeWylde takes us next is this enticing new world.

Good read from start to finish.

I guess I expected more, especially when you attach "Big Bad" to a title. It seemed the heroine out weighed the hero in the story.

I really wanted to like this book, it contains many things s usually enjoy. The writing, dialog, and characteration is weak and unintresting. Formula books can be written well and be enjoyable, this is neither. I admire the effort to write a book but this book simply is not ready for publication.

Intersting shifter story. More to tell but no cliffhanger. I felt like the last 1/3 of the book got confusing with the who is who of shifter council and who is siding with who. Also vamps got thrown in at the very end and i got lost a bit. Lots of anger from our lady at the beginnng. Some sex in this book but it doesnt overpower the story.

Randi Rutger is out to take down the company who destroyed her father and his company, bad boy Blake Woolven. Blake knows what Randi is after but his wolf wants her as their mate but can his wolf convince his human half or will he use her and loose her in the end. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is book 1 of The Woolven Secret by the author.

BIG BAD BILLIONAIRE-The Woolven Secret 1; Is the birth of a heart-throbbing enthralling series. (Each book in the series will focus on a Woolven family member) Saranna's talent as an author truly shines as she lures you into a POWERFUL UNFORGETABLE story. The story takes place in Den Hollow, MO, on the Woolven Estate {Aphelion}. The characters as vividly described are powerful and engaging: Randi Rutger-curvy, sexy, independent, red-headed beauty; David Rutger-scientist, worked for Blake Woolven, Randi's dad; Alpha Blake Woolven-billionaire, charismatic, womanizer, dominance seeps from the pores of this powerful Alpha (the hulk would probably submit to him); Drew-Beta, brother to Blake, the level headed one; Parker, youngest brother, prankster; Warner (War) Uncle, was badly scarred in a fight; Eleanor Westwood-housekeeper/nanny/resident witch; Vamprs. As the story unfolds you learn that David Rutger has committed suicide leaving Randi a two word note: BLAKE WOOLVEN. She believes that Blake was responsible for her dad's death and devises a plan to ruin the Woolven empire. She applies for a job at Woolven Industries as she is the only one who can decode her dad's notes at Tech. During the interview with Blake, Randi informs him that she is out to destroy him. She shows no fear of him, but finds herself attracted to him. Unfortunately for Blake, he and his wolf identify her as MATE...lucky him (she's an inferno of hate). He hires her as VP of Tech. The adventure begins.... From start to finish this story is fantastic, a shifter lovers dream as you are transported into the world of the WOOLVEN's; the banter between Blake and Randi sensational, the characters are courageous, loyal, passionate and believable. The romance was hot-blooded. There is danger, tension, life threatening incidents and some astonishing reveals. The story demands the reader's attention. Actually, I felt I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. I have no reservations in recommending this book as it was truly an exciting reading experience and I most certainly will be getting the next book in this fabulous series.
