Biological Networks

Any system with sub-units linked into a whole is known as a network. A biological network is a network of biological systems. It provides a mathematical representation of the connections between ecological, evolutionary and physiological studies. The prominent networks in biology are metabolic networks, food webs and gene regulatory networks.
