About the Author

Carson Vincent Heady was born in Cape Girardeau, MO, where his parents still reside.
He entered sales at age 22 and has found success at every level, from award-winning sales representative and account manager to multi-region director and Sales VP at multiple companies and a management and marketing consultant.
Once Carson realized his aptitude in the game of sales, he decided to write his first novel - Birth of a Salesman - which told the story of a young man who came into prominence in sales and sales leadership and doubled as a self-help selling and management manual to guide others to the level of success he achieved. The story continued in 2014's The Salesman Against the World and 2016's A Salesman Forever.
Carson is a profound public speaker, successful corporate leader and his articles have appeared in several noteworthy publications such as LinkedIn Pulse, SalesGravy, Smash! Sales, Salesopedia and the Baylor Sports Department S3 Report. He has co-hosted the Smart Biz Show on EG Radio and has been interviewed on that show and the shows of "Coach" Ron Tunick, Andre' Harrell, Jean Oursler, Bill Crespo, Marlene Chism, Matt Tanguay's "B2B Sales Geniuses" and Chad Bostick's "Hello Tech Pros."
Carson lives in St. Louis, MO, with his wife and two daughters.
