Overview

Dante Gabriel is starving. What he craves is red gold--human blood. After being held captive as a blood slave to a female vampire for years, he has finally escaped. Unchained at last, he follows his nose to the nearest blood bank to sate his hunger.
ER nurse Erin Hamilton expects just another busy night shift...until she finds a gorgeous stranger vandalizing the hospital blood bank. Though her logic tells her to turn him in, she's pulled by stronger and unfamiliar emotions to protect the man who seems oddly infatuated with her scent. Chemistry sizzles between them, but Dante, plagued by nightmares of his time in captivity, fears he won't be able to control himself...especially when he discovers a secret she doesn't even know she's hiding.

Not usually a fan of vampire books, but Helen Hardt has changed my mind. Modern story that grips you from the start. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This is the first of many parts of this story. It was choppy, uninteresting and repetitive. Really boring. It had no flow and most of the time made no sense.

The book was only 107 pages so the characters and story line wasn't very developed. The sex related parts were detailed. I'd read good reviews so I will read the next one and see if it improves. If not, I will be done with the series. This is a quick, brainless read.

OMG such a wonderful read. Helen's first walk into the paranormal was an excellent choice. Dante and Erin are such a wonderful couple. Dante is a vampire that was taken when he was 18. Erin is an ER nurse working the graveyard shift. They can stay away from each other since Erin meets him in the hospital blood bank. Erin doesn't know why she can't stay from Dante. The only thing is the cliffhanger at the end. I really need to know what happens next. I'm biting my nails to find out and get the next book.

BLOOD BOND SAGA Part 1 By Helen Hardt Helen Hardt has been one of my favorite authors since I found the Steel brothers. I know I can always count on a good read from her. This is no exception. I was really curious how she would go into this genre of book with vampires, flawlessly is how she did it! I have always liked vampire stories and enjoyed this one very much. I can already tell it will be a great book saga. This is the story of a vampire named Dante who is imprisoned for 10 years on the cusp of being an adult. When he finally is able to escape, he meets up with an ER night shift nurse by the name of Erin. They are drawn together in such a way that they do not understand. Not saying anymore at this point, I don't like to give spoilers away. Give it a try!

I am going to be honest. I didn’t read this book. And I absolutely hate when people give reviews on products they haven’t tried. Why not read it? Because I see this is an ongoing series, with the 15th (!!!!) book currently as a preorder. And at almost $3 for every book averaging around 100 pages, I am getting disappointed with authors giving us cliffhangers to drag out every penny out of our wallets.

I really like this Saga so far. Definetly have to have an interest in vampires but I love how its not overly mythical. The writing is great and I love the characters!! More Dante and Erin? Yes please!

I wqs very disapointed in this book after reading the Steel brothers saga. I don't want to continue the series. I hope the other series are as good as Steel brothers.
