Menopause is slowly becoming less taboo, but the conversation is still laced with stigma. At best, we are often given a sanitised overview that vaguely mentions the most 'socially acceptable' parts - maybe a nod to a hot flush (sweat-free, naturally), or a joke about hormones. We rarely hear the full, raw stories from marginalised queer people of colour who have rejected the stigma and silence.
