About the Author

Anthony Day-Grandin is a writer and poet based in New Haven, Connecticut. Born on January 28, 1994, he developed a passion for storytelling early in life. Following his parents' separation, he and his mother relocated to Bethany, Connecticut, to live with his grandmother, Edwina Thompson, whose love for art and literature significantly influenced his creative development. Day-Grandin attended high schools in both Connecticut and Vermont, where he rekindled his interest in writing and began working on various projects. In 2012, he completed his first book, The City Breaks Its Promise. By 2013, he had published poetry and was working on a second book, aiming to convey messages of survival through his art. He continues to reside in New Haven, Connecticut .

Beyond his writing, Day-Grandin curates post-punk playlists and engages with his audience on social media platforms, including Twitter (@postpunkauthor) and Instagram (@antdaygrandin) .
