Great story with real, likeable characters....kept the mystery till the end, no trashy language or overly-descriptive sex scenes. Loved it!

Have been waiting for long time for follow up to Ice Blue. Very enjoyable read and recommend this new series. Agatha Christie or PD James need not worry; these books are not up to that standard but a fun read never the lessI look forward to more in this series . tThere are laugh out loud parts of the novel and the characters are people you would like to know. Please keep writing this series.

Agatha Christie is my favorite author and no one else has ever come close. Emma Jameson could change that! Her style is very different, but no extra dialogue or 'fluff' to fill up pages. Just when I was really wanting more information about the characters, it pops up at a very appropriate time. The information fits seamlessly into the story, makes sense and makes the characters more believable. Only negative, wish there were more books in this series!!

Blue-bloods with a lot of dirty laundry that gets exposed during the course of a double murder investigation. Great mystery and some action. Character development is decent, though the romance is rather subdued. That's the British angle I suppose.

I loved it. The storyline, the ever so sauve characters and the excitment in the novel was thrilling. I read it in 3 days. Outstanding!

Love the banter between Paul and Kate. will continue on to book 3.

A mystery with romance....fascinating characters. Clearly Britain has way more social services than the US. Anyone with two dependants one of whom has special needs would be bankrupt and poverty stricken here. Sister in the institution would be homeless and on the street. Reminds me of inspector Lynley mysteries a bit, but more immediate and less depressing. Thank you Emma Jameson.

This 600 page book is rather fascinating. THere is a Halloween party puton in London by Emma which has two young men end up dead with hatchets in their heads. Lord Hethridge is 60 but seems more youthful than that as he sets out to solve this mystery. It MIGHT be too long for a book group to consider discussing.

I got lost at the end with all the names at the last breakfast meeting. So I skipped it. Good book, though.

Too much chatter and throwing out of similar names.

Enjoyable read. Some British slang but not so much that an American can't follow along.

I went out of my way to find this second book in the series. I like the interplay between the three main characters . I skip the sex scenes. They do nothing for me. I like the butler's comments.

Finally, no cardboard characters, excessive descriptions of landscapes and food, just interesting, sometimes witty dialogue and characters who turn into reai people before you finish the first Blue novel
