The story was fun, fast paced, and well written. The ending was a bit abrupt for my liking and also written to entice the reader to purchase the next book. Not cool. A little more about the primary characters and less about the next books characters would have created more interest for me. Additionally, the rest of the books in the series are expensive for what I would assume is another rather short book

i enjoy a good romantic mystery that flows and author Shelli Stevens always givens us good books that allows me to move into the storyline and try to figure out what is happening alongside the characters. Ellie is hiding from herself as well as the bad guys who want to keep her from going to court against her ex boyfriend. Trevor is the good guy and is a cop in the new town. The problem is not Trevor per say but the cops in the old town were bad "coppers" and not to trusted. So can Ellie trust Trevor? Until she knows she is hiding and undercover and that. I love Trevors family and can not wait to read their stories. One thing I would like to point out is that this is a re-release of book that author Shelli Stevens published before with another publisher. Some folks want to know this.

Great book! Can't wait till Getting Off comes out later this year. Love CiCi and Cole's relationship. Hope Maggie also gets her own book.

Not so great. Boring, predictable. Glad I borrowed it and didn't buy it.
