About the Author

DAVID COLBURN IS a computer programmer and lifelong Celtics fan. He is what would be considered a sports statistics and information "nut." He started following the Celtics in the early to mid 1980s prior to their 15th title win. Since 2002, he has meticulously maintained his website, celticstats.com, which is home to a staggering amount of data on Celtics players, coaches, seasons, games and of course championships. In his spare time, he plays ultimate frisbee around New England and follows his other favorite teams. This Vermont native has recently returned after spending a few years living in Boston as a Celtics season ticket holder in the balcony in Section 303. In 2009 he published his first book, Boston Celtics IQ: The Ultimate Test of True Fandom. He is also the author of the upcoming Sports by the Numbers book, Boston Celtics: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports. Visit David on the web at: www.celticstats.com.
