Break Out and Break Through

Having gone through challenges, Marie decided to chronicle the life of her mother who has survived unimaginably painful struggles but emerged as a survivor in the end. Marie's mother was born in a family of ten kids. When the head of their family, their father passed away, it was the children who suffered the most. Marie's mother was given away to a family who was willing to keep her as a servant.
