Its an easy read but kind of dull, in the beginning I was hooked and loved it but it slowed down alot in the middle, had a nice ending tho. I'd recommend reading it if you want a nice easy read.

Kerry Guthrie struggles with her fear of allowing anyone too close after a tragic accident ended her budding career as a prima ballerina in New York, and her engagement to a gifted conductor. She opens a ballet school in California, but can’t completely put aside her dream of returning to the stage. Her world has become her students, and one talented girl shines. When Melanie’s father, Chris Layne, meets Kerry, new emotions bloom. A cop, Chris also has scars from the past and fears of headlong involvement. But their passion grows with their love. Melanie’s first romance with a boy Chris considers a punk complicates ongoing friction with his sixteen-year-old daughter over allowing her to go to New York to pursue a career, with Kerry in the middle. Kerry sees at twenty-nine she only has a year or two more to try to recapture all she lost as a dancer, but that will mean leaving Chris behind. A warm, vivid and emotional window into ballet and the dreams of young dancers, and the choices love brings. A romance to remember.
