Overview

Cade Terence, a former SEAL, has spent the last two years physically recovering when his unit's truck drove over an antitank landmine. Six other team-mates were also badly hurt, the seventh dead, in what their team leader Badger Horley realized later had to be a trap set to take them out. The father of Laszlo, a member of his unit, was in a hit-and-run. Investigating this accident leads Cade and other members of the team on a trail with very definite connections to the original incident that nearly got him and the entire squad killed.

Faith Halladay is a commercial airline pilot. When her best friend Elizabeth is in a serious accident that leaves her in a coma and threatens to steal her life, she rushes to Norway to sit vigil at her bedside. There, she meets Cade, who asks all sorts of questions about the accident that she can't answer. The attitude Elizabeth's family displays when they lose hope that their daughter will survive stuns Faith, leading to a heated confrontation.

Cade's endless questions now have her asking her own. She reconnects with him only to discover that her relationship with Cade has put her in a killer's sights, and the nightmare that's become his world is now her own.

Can't believe the great reviews for this series. The romance was pitiful and the author knows next to nothing about the military. If this group of guys were SEALS they're an insult to real ones. So far none of the guys have had safe sex, guess the author doesn't believe in condoms. Ten million dollars and not one of them wonders who would have that kind of money?? There's also no character development. I may just jump to the final book out of curiousity to see the killer is. Do they have proof that Mouse is actually dead? I did like that none of the books had the f bomb.

Cade by Dale Mayer SEALs of Steel Series Book Three Cade Terence is in charge of the next leg of their mission. Along with Laszlo and Talon, they head to Norway to find out if their latest theory could be right. It's too unreal to imagine to be true...but it looks like it might be. As if their team hasn't been through enough the past two years, now they have to deal with something even more sinister. Faith Halladay got a call that her best friend is dying. At least one good thing is that as a commercial airline pilot, she can fly free. The last person she'd ever imagine meeting in a Norway hospital is the handsome guy she shared a cab with. Only, as Faith finds out, it's not a good time to know him. The mystery continues. The guys have a few more clues...but more questions than answers. And they are finding out how dangerous it is for anyone to have a connection to them. Really good series. The romances are completed in the books...the mystery is not. **Sexual content

I liked this book, but it wasn't my favorite book in the series. This book didn't have the action I expected and there were no situations where they needed to use their SEAL skills. There were still a lot to the book that I loved. I liked how character's from the other series made appearances in this book. You didn’t need to have read the previous series but if you did it was nice having them involved. I liked that this book delved more into the personal lives both physical and emotional aspects of the main characters Faith and Cade. I really liked the way the book dealt with Cade's injury. It showed the vulnerability he had getting intimate with a girl for the first time after the accident. We see Faith getting involved Cade’s trouble by her association with him while Faith was dealing with her best friend who was in a coma. In this book, we don’t really learn anything new about the accident, but the team recovers a laptop with a lot of information. I’m looking forward to the next book, where we will find what information they found and how it will help them get answers to who’s behind their accident. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These just keep getting better! What a fabulous series! The SEALS of Steel are HOT!! Cade is the third book in this exciting new series! Eight men in their military truck were blown up by an anti-tank mine. One died, the remaining seven are severely injured, missing limbs and very slow to heal. Suspicious that the blast was intentional, these men are determined to find answers. Cade and a couple of his buddies travel to Norway to check on fellow SEAL, Lazslow, whose family is not well and end up meeting sweet, beautiful, Faith, a commercial airline pilot. What a wild ride this story has turned out to be! I just love the brotherhood and support Cade and the guys from his Unit have as well as the support received from other active and non-active military units. They are as close as any family can get and all have similar injuries and painful memories. I love the empathy in this story. Faith’s best friend, Elizabeth, has suffered injuries in a horrible car accident and is in a drug induced coma so her body can hopefully heal, but her chances of survival are slim. Faith is constantly at Elizabeth’s bedside giving her encouragement to hang on. This story has such sweet, touching moments. So many people who are suffering have a built in support group of their friends that understand their situation and their pain. It also slams you into a cold harsh reality of murder and unbelievable hate that people can feel towards one another. It’s hard and gritty in its intenseness when these men are looking for answers into the automobile related accidents that seem to be too coincidental as well as the circumstances surrounding the bombing. It also gives you hope that we all wish for someone to care enough to be at our side in support and sympathy when we would need it the most. And there is the hot, sexy attraction between Cade and Faith that they don’t even try to deny. A fast paced, fantastic story that you can’t put down! I’m excited for book 04! Excellent job! I loved it!

This series continues with Cade's story as the former Seal Team continues to investigate the landmine explosion which severely injured 7 seals and left one dead. It is 2 years after the incident and the search for truth continues. Clues have kept coming leading them to believe this was not an accident. Now in this book, the plot continues as the team members realize the danger has increased to include family and friends. The investigation in this book takes them to Norway where Cade meets Faith who is an airline pilot. (Each woman added in this series seems to have a specialty which helps them achieve certain goals.) She by sheer association faces danger as well. The characters in this series are endearing not just because they have overcome so much but their personalities are just honest, sincere, and they are fighting to find answers to the past incident plus the present danger. Yes, I'll read it again and am really looking forward to Talon's story in book #4.

The story continues on the men of the SEALs of Steel Series and this one continuing with Cade and the woman he meets, Faith. They meet after a flight and share a cab, then they meet up again by coincidence in Norway where her best friend is in the hospital and Cade is investigating a new lead in who blew up his team. They offer each other support and when they are both at home in Santa Fe, they continue to talk to each other. Then things get complicated as Faith is brought into their world with the investigation and her life may now be in danger. Another great read as more information is found out and it only enhances the suspense and mystery as they track down whodunit. The romance between Cade and Faith was more slow going and their separate stories were more on the forefront than their relationship, they spent more time apart than together. It didn’t take away from the story or their romance as they become friends first helping each other out, until they can’t be apart because of her involvement now. Only thing missing from this story for me was why was Mary so adamant of keeping Faith away, was there more to it, what happens to the sister now and how does that affect all their relationships. Otherwise a great read with a bit of steam, with the suspense and mystery building especially when they find out that all the men’s immediate families have been targeted as well. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

(4.5)SEALS of Steel is an enjoyable series. This is book 3 and I am ready for 4 :) Although they can be read as a stand a lone, I do not recommend that. This series is like watching a play as the plot unfolds each act (book) I don't quite grasp the quick connection with Faith and Cade, but I did enjoy. I like watching the thread unravel as they continue to search for what really happened when they ran over the landmine those years ago. Now throw into the mix the thought that loss of family members and friends through the last couple of years might not be accidents, phew, where are we going here. How do they wrap their brains around that? What about the message given to Faith, in person, for Cade? Just makes me wonder even more if Mouse is not dead? Could he possibly feel betrayed? Its been tingling in the back of my mind since book 2. Except that still wouldn't account for why and how it all happened in the first place. Hooked, I am hooked on this series. The romance is a benefit to this series. I received an Arc and voluntarily express my thoughts and opinions.

This was another great Action/Mystery/Suspense in the Seal's of Steel Series! Several great reveals and shockers! I really loved Faith and her job as an airline pilot! She and Cade were really cute together! I especially like how the author's character's offer love and support and not just "sex" (although that is great too!) Enjoyed meeting some new characters and keeping up with the couples from the other books. You can read this as a standalone but the series is awesome. Can't wait for the next one. In this book, more clues are revealed about the betrayal that killed Mouse, and wounded the other men in the group. Cade meets Faith and this puts her in danger along with the men. Reading this set of books in order would be best, because you'll want to follow along with the story as it unfolds. Loving this series, and look forward to the next book. This book was so exciting that I read it straight through and have a book hangover!! It grabbed you from the start and held on till the end! What a ride. Loved the characters and how they interact with each other and how characters from other books and series make an appearance! I can’t wait for the next book in this series as I really love how Dale writes these stories about current and past servicemen and how she shows they are still a “family” even after they have served! Love love love this book and the characters and the storyline! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the third book of the series. Certainly cannot be read as a standalone and you'd need to have read Badger and Erick first otherwise you'll be well and truly lost. You'd benefit greatly to have read the Seals of Honour and also Heroes for Hire but not necessary to have done so and you may want to go and check out those also. The story is extremely interesting and with the plot thickening. I simply couldn't stop reading once I started as I am so intrigued by what the team has discovered in terms of not only they were attacked but now their innocent relatives and friends are suffering horrific accidents as its a very deep personal hatred tormenting so many. Fantastic series and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

This is book three of this series and the story continues to unfold. A book full of drama, suspense and danger. Amongst this, we are given Cade and Faith's romance. I enjoyed this read. As more clues are dropped, more secrets uncovered and the intrigue deepens it is impossible not to get sucked into the plot.

The suspense continues to build in this 3rd part of this series, more information is gradually coming forward. Also things that were thought to be unlucky events could possibly be a lot more suspicious. I am loving these books, each one moves the guys investigation a little further on without giving to much away in each book, like a gentle tease. In this one Cade also meets someone a bit special but who is dealing with some upsetting problems of her own. The tension and some sadness combine to keep you intrigued and hooked into the story, this plot has been written like a giant novel that is broken down into segments, that means as each ends you cant wait to jump straight onto the next. I do have an inkling into who the bad guy may be, but I could also be completely blindsided by the author when we do find out, again that is no bad thing as I'm more than happy to be surprised. I will say to anyone looking to read these books, it is one of those you need to start at the beginning Badger and work through in series order. The plot runs throughout so you will miss vital events or information if you skip or miss any, then what's happening will not make any sense and be confusing. Dale Mayer I am ready bring on the next book please.

This is a terrific story, the third in the series telling the story of the men who survived an IED and the women that help them heal. The romance is standalone, but the ongoing investigation ties all the books together. Cade is in Norway investigating the hit-and-run that nearly killed his teammate's father, and finds Faith, a woman he briefly met, at the same hospital at her friend's bedside. As their paths continue to intersect, they're inexplicably drawn to each other, but Cade's primary focus is on finding the truth behind the bombing and subsequent attacks on his team. As with the previous books, the love story is intense, but takes a back seat to the investigation. Still, this is an amazing story of the bravery, determination, and brotherhood of the SEALs and the women they love. It's written very realistically, with no easy answers and a slow-building revealing of the facts and reasons interconnected to the initial bombing. If you love military romances, this book was written for you. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
