About the Author

Sarah Johnson is a freelance writer and longtime lover of the written word. Her love of the classics began early, with Jane Austen becoming a clear favorite by her early teens. When the world of fan fiction was introduced to her, she was delighted to find so many wonderful stories based on dearly loved characters. It was a few years before a new writers challenge, posted at one of the Jane Austen Fan Fiction forums, drew her to put pen to paper and begin writing the stories that have always unfolded in her mind. After fifteen years of military life, she and her husband, along with their six children, have now settled in Texas, where she continues to write of the Regency era and of characters that will forever live in the hearts of Jane Austen's admirers.
