About the Author

David Waine was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, in 1949. He started writing seriously after leaving the teaching profession. His first book, 'The Planning Officers' was published in 2011. Seven more, including a fantasy trilogy and two crime thrillers have since followed. He is currently working on his third crime thriller. David Waine has been married for over a quarter of a century and has two sons. He and his wife have a small holding in the Pennines of northern England.
