Welcome to this short story about a six year old chocolate lab named Sam who lives in San Francisco and is a diehard Giants fan. Sam thinks his life is all set up just the way he wants it, and then he loses his best friend, Larry. Much of Sam’s certainty comes from Larry’s vision of how to live life well.
