I thoroughly enjoy the Ryder series. I have read and enjoyed a lot of Melissa's books and this one didn't let me down either. I enjoy a series of good reads because I love the character development that it requires and the continuity from one story to the next, even if they are stand alone, they are much more enjoyable in order. I see so much more behind the scenes when past characters appear in the story. Melissa is great at adding the layers. And not to mention the hot steamy parts and fantasy of it all that keep me reading and loosing sleep getting to the next chapter and the next. I definitely recommend this story and look forward to the rest of her good work!!

Fall in love with Boone and Trisha. Rock star. Actress. Romance. Crash and burn? Not exactly. I did not get the typical rock star/actress romance. Don't get me wrong Boone was rock star that had the typical past of a rock star. But this point in his life something has to give and a change was on the horizon for him. Trisha was an actress that took her job seriously and love it that way. She has the chance to make her crafts shine and enjoy the interaction of a rock star along the way. She just was not expecting the interaction she got. Take a stab and dive right in to the slow building romance that can give you another way to fall in love with a high profile romance. There was an attraction that burned the walls around them and scorched the people in close proximity, but there was also a strong fierce woman that demanded more than was being offered at first glance. Trisha knew who she was and excepted nothing but what she deserved. Trisha and Boone had more to offer the other than a quickie. They took the time to build their friendship allowing for the trust and respect to flourish. That trust and respect allowed for them to not have to question the other about this or that. Good characters, good interaction, good build to that lasting relationship. And we get to visit some of the past characters from earlier in the series. No doubt about it I will be continuing on in the Love in Bloom series. YOU should too or start. You are guaranteed to find characters to help you fall in love. **This ARC was provided via Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review.**

The first thing that hits me when I think about this book is the intelligence of these characters. They have smart and deep conversations. They still have their fun and wildly compatible sexual encounters but their daily communication skills are meaningful. Their relationship is give and take, 50/50 and they're both ALL in. Another thing I liked about Trish and Boone was their love of family and their sizzling connection. Great story line! I can't wait to read more of this amazing series! Received a copy via RockStarLit in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

In this story we meet Trish, an actress who comes from a loving family. And Boone a really hot rock star and “bad boy”. In order for Boone to win Trish’s heart, he had to show her he wasn’t the man she thinks he is. Both of these characters are very easy to love, which makes for a great read! The fact that this story has tons of sparks flying also keeps it interesting. I truly loved this book which doesn’t surprise me one bit. I love all of Melissa Foster’s books. Even though this is Book #3, it’s a great stand alone book. It’s one that you don’t want to miss.

One of the things I love most of Melissa Foster's books (besides of course the love stories) are the wonderful families that she creates, I would really like to be part of each of them: brothers and sisters who help and support each other, males very protective of her sisters, especially if they are smaller. I loved the first few pages of this story where Jake and Duke were trying to protect and encourage their sister Trish. Trish is a good actress, loves her job and performs it with great commitment and passion. She has the fortune of having to work on the set with Boone, a sexy rock star in his feature film debut. And she's terrified at the thought of working with one of which has always been in love. How will she hear his voice, see him so close and not faint? In addition Boone doesn't take seriously this work complicating things further. This author always creates magic couples with a really explosive chemical. Trish and Boone are perfect together, he's so sexy, impossible not to be his grupie. Trish is sweet and very charming. Although it is the third book in the series can be read as stand alone but they are well written that it is worth to read them all. It 's a romance sweet, sensual and exciting, a must-read for lovers of romance.

An eye-opening for us to know how celebrity worked First this book has beautiful cover. Secondly, the story is even more beautiful. It gives us an eye-opening how the celebrity worked. They are just like normal people but crazy schedules with everybody helping them around. I loved Trish and her brothers. They were all protective of her. Any girls that has many brothers can relate. She's also very hard-working that is surrounded with the love of her family. Boone on the other hand is a hunk and a musician who Trish thinks has a big head for not showing up on time. These two judges the book by each cover. When they were put to secluded location to work on a project, things got heat up and become real. This book is funny, emotional and heart breaking as well. You will adore Boone and his protectiveness not only with his family but specific friend as well. Boone is very unselfish. He prioritize everybody without taking care of himself. You will love him I promise. This alpha guy has a heart of gold and Trish adds favor to their crazy relationship. This is another exciting read from Ms. Melissa Foster. She never stop pleasing her readers. Disclosure: I received an ARC of the book in exchange of my honest review.

I think it is time we all face the facts… Melissa Foster is a schemer! That’s right… I said it. She takes the most selective and hard to please reader and makes them a full-blown fan. With the creation of lovable characters like Boone and Trish, you get more in depth with their lives. You know… the love, distractions, and of course the steamy interactions. Foster chronicles the love, family and lives of these two characters so you see the differences they have. As they are stowed away at the next filming site, you learn what Boone and Trish do have in common. Well, besides the steamy hot connection. Another couple you really will like to read about.

I absolutely fell in love with this latest release by Melissa Foster, it is without a doubt a page turner that is packed full of emotions. Trish is an Actress who takes every role she plays seriously and does it well by immersing herself inside that character. As Trish and Boone come together, rather un-willingly, in her latest movie, Trish must help Boone get into his character. Only problem is Boone knows this character a little too well and the last place he wants to be is further inside or too close. There is instant chemistry between these characters on and off the set, and neither one is who the other thought. One thing they have in common is their love for their family and friends, now they both want to do this movie justice and get the right message out there. The thing I loved about Trish was how pushy she was and not once did she give Boone an out, she helped him face his fears and to try get passed them. Boone is the protector in his family and I loved the way he made it his job to protect Trish as the story unfolded. I laughed, I cried and I got goose bumps because of the raw emotions and extremely touching scenes. An absolute knock-out for any and all Melissa Foster fans!! Loved it

4.5 stars!! Melissa Foster has to be my favorite author out there. Every single book she writes, I love. But Chased by Love, just might be my favorite. Wanna talk about a book hangover?? That ending still makes me have all the feels!! Trish and Boone had crazy chemistry (for me at least) right from the start. Trish is an actress who wants to be taken seriously. She puts 100 percent into her rolls. Boone is a musical who has landed his first acting role. At first Trish thinks Boone is not giving it his all. She thinks what everyone else thinks, typical musician. Booze, women and partying. Then Trish discovers the real Boone. The one the media honest know. He is a sensitive and caring man who guards his private life to the vest and takes care of those closest to him. As with Melissa's other books, the writing is phenomenal. As a reader, you become invested in every single character there is in her book. From lead characters, to secondary characters (probably because you know they will be getting their own book down the line!). You feel what they feel and you are pulling for them from page one. ... and that ending... I am still swooning!! This is a must read if you love contemporary romance books !!! OMG that ending!! My heart !! LOVED IT!

Foster has a track record of writing novels that make me feel all the feels. Small town romances make me smile and help bring me back to my roots. Trish Ryder has a job many people dream about. An actress seems to have it made in the shade: endless money, world wide travel, and a job she loves. I really enjoyed how she had the same problems as a "regular" person. I really liked the way that Foster allowed me to enter into Trish and Boone's life. An escape from reality is just what I needed at the start of school! Trish and Boone definitely do not seem like a match made in heaven from the start. Watching their romance bloom made me blush.

Chased by Love is book #40 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #3 in the Ryders series but can be read as a standalone. Boone and Trish will chase down and capture your heart. They have some crazy hot chemistry that you can actually feel from their very first confrontation in Boone’s trailer when Trish walks in on him. Trish Thinks he is a womanizing partier the press makes him out to be but she finds out that he is nothing at all like his reputation and the reason he has that reputation. Trish is a beautiful, strong, devoted, talented, loyal independent woman. She is very close to her family. She is an actress filming a movie where she is playing the role of the heroine-addicted girlfriend of a rock star. She has her eyes on an Oscar. Boone is protective, loyal, devoted and strong yet so sweet and tender at the same time. He is also very close with his family. Boone is a real life rock star playing the role of a rock star in the movie. Because of tragic events in his past and some trouble with his brother in the present some of the scenes are hitting a bit close to home and causing Boone to be unable to perform. Trish and Boone are sent together to the next filming location for 10 days in the hopes that Trish can help Boone with his acting. All this time alone together, one adorable kitten named Sparky, a connection that is off the charts and a lot of sex and one week later they can’t imagine being away from each other. **CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own. We first meet Trish Ryder in Crashing into Love when her assistant Fiona falls for Jake Braden, and I have been dying to read her and Boone Stryker's story. Trish is an actress and she is currently doing a film with the very hot 6"2 Boone Stryker - Americas current hottest rock star. She is very dedicated to her acting so when Boone isn't pulling his weight on set she storms off to his trailer where is in nothing but a towel (ok he was just putting it on) and bam that is where the chemistry starts. From that moment she is really fighting her feelings as she doesn't want to be another notch on his bed or another one of his groupies. Boone is definitely a rock star and definitely not an actor, so much so that he and Trish are ordered by the director to spent ten days together at the next location to get into character or its quits. Whilst there Boone begins to open to Trish and she in return stars to warm towards him, as to be honest she is a little push and bitchy - but then again it is her career on the line if he doesn't pull through for the film. I loved their story and how their relationship develops and once again in true Foster style, Melissa will want you reading more, more more! This is easily read as a stand alone even though it is book 3 in The Ryders and book 40 in the Love In Bloom Series. 5 stars yet again!

In the latest installment of the Ryders branch of the Love in Bloom series, Trish Ryder finds herself starring alongside her longtime crush, sexy rocker Boone Stryker. They get off on the wrong foot, but when they are forced to spend time alone together to prepare for their roles, Boone begins to open up to Trish. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop as Trish helps him to deal with feelings from the past that are affecting his ability to perform his role. Boone is definitely not the typical rock star, although that is what his public image portrays. He is not into partying and has left his womanizing ways behind. He is loyal, protective and always puts others before himself. My only negative comments are that Trish seemed too perfect at times, it seemed like she could do no wrong. Duke was too sweet at times. While I liked that he wasn't the typical wild rock star with lots of issues, I found him to be a little on the boring side. I also think that the mention of so many characters from other books in the Love in Bloom series was a bit too much. Overall, it was another good addition to the Ryders series. I received an ARC for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

Melissa Foster did it again! These books have been amazing! Chased by Love was a perfect balance of love, frustration, and admiration. Trish and Boone's relationship is one of dreams come true! Trish is this tough, outspoken, feisty, beautiful actress who has 5 older brothers who made sure to protect her and teach her. She's definitely not the high maintenance, miss prissy, drama queen that you think of when you hear the word actress. She tells you how it is and doesn't give up! She can take care of herself and she definitely doesn't need a man but she does have a huge crush on Boone. Boone is a sexy, confident rock star with a playboy, bad boy reputation. He comes from a tough past and is making a movie that is a experience he had in his life. His reputation makes it easy for him to be left alone and his family protected. He never puts him first even though people thinks his is a self centered womanizer! He is all about his family and now this woman named Trish is breaking down his walls and finding out his secret and he is letting her. Their love is magnetic and so real. She can turn his world upside and make him feel and deal with everything he has been pushing deep down inside himself. They bring out the best in each other! I just love the chemistry between them and the love scenes were hot and steamy! You have to check this book out!

hased by Love by Melissa Foster is an entertaining romance with strong characters, memorable events and a love story that had me laughing, crying and falling in love myself Chased by Love by Melissa Foster is the third book in Love in Bloom: The Ryders series and is the story of America's hottest rock star, Boone Stryker and an ambitious Actress Trish Ryder. Thrown together when they decide to work in a movie, this story takes us deeper into the lives of these two characters, away from the glitz and glamour of their jobs and into a slow building but an ever-after kind of love. Having read the previous book in this series, Claimed by Love, I got interested when I heard about this latest installment. The blurb is interesting and had me intrigued enough to take up reading this book. The story came as a pleasant surprise for it is unlike the Rockstar romances I have read in the past. It gives more emphasis to the personal lives and conflicts of the protagonists. Like Melissa Foster's other books, this one too had me enjoying the characters, loving revisiting the old ones and left eager to read the stories of the secondary characters in hopefully the next books in this series! The story is medium paced and is fluidly written. I sat engrossed and highly entertained by the head butting and battle of wills of the protagonists while they tried to ignore the red hot passion between them. The background story of Boone had me speculating all sorts of tales and yet the author kept surprising me. I enjoyed watching Boone and Trish mature, clear the air and despite all their supposed attempts otherwise- fall in love. Despite being part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone and being a lover of Melissa Foster's romances, I do recommend that you start on this series, if not already done so. All in all, Chased by Love by Melissa Foster is an entertaining romance with strong characters, memorable events and a love story that had me laughing, crying and falling in love myself. 4 out of 5 to it and recommended to all romance lovers above the age of eighteen. I look forward to reading more from the author in the future and await the subsequent books eagerly. I received an ARC from the author and the tour organizers and I am very thankful to them. The above is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced. This review is also available on Njkinny's World of Books & Stuff (NWoBS)

CHASED BY LOVE is the third book in The Ryders series and this is Trish’s story. Trish is an actress who doesn’t take her job for granted. When she lands a role that will put her opposite an A-list rock star, Trish wonders if this movie will make or break her career because although the movie will do well if Boone Stryker is a part of it, everyone is looking at him to see if he can actually act. Unfortunately, there’s added pressure for the rock star Boone because in addition to this major movie that he needs to film, there is also quite a lot going on with his family life. Despite the fame and money he has, it can’t help the situation with his family very much. There’s drug use involved but I don’t want to talk about here so much because I think actually reading it is part of what deepens Boone’s character as a whole. He’s presented as his hardcore rock star in the beginning who has groupies swarming him, but the thing with Melissa Foster’s characters is that they are never truly what they seem. As you read the book you definitely come to know Boone as a man other than a rock star and I think the family part that I mentioned earlier plays a huge part in that. In terms of originality, this book does follow your typical troubled bad boy rock star who kind of gets reformed in the end. But for me, Boone works because of how Foster was able to delve deeper into his characterization. Trish is also wonderful. She doesn’t allow Boone to walk over her and I liked that about her. She’s a very strong woman and I liked that she was willing to put her career before everything else. You don’t really see that very much in a lot of other books anymore and I thought it made Trish very distinct. Their romance is complex and frustrating at times as they go both back and forth between liking and hating each other so I wouldn’t say it’s the most smoothest romance Foster has written, but I don’t mean that because of the writing or anything. Trish and Boone have to go through a lot before they get their HEA, which is why, when it comes, it’s that much more inspiring. Obviously if you are a fan of either family series or rock stars, this is one worth reading.

Trish is a well known actress who has been given the opportunity of a lifetime; the opportunity to flex her range of skill and a run at the Oscars. She also gets the opportunity to act with her rock star crush, Boone Stryker. Boone, a guy from the Bronx, the image of a rock star on the surface. When you get under the surface, Boone is a protector; he cares for everyone from his mother, siblings, and friends, before he considers what he may need or want. Taking on the task of training Boone, following a numerous amounts of failed attempts to film a pivotal scene, Trish and Boone are sequestered on set to rehearse. Throughout their time together, Trish senses that Boone has walls built around who he is, but can't help but think that his image of a self absorbed rock star is accurate. As they begin to make breakthroughs in their troublesome themes and warm up to each other, Trish learns that there is so much more to Boone than meets the eye. When these two let loose, their passion is undeniable and their playful and intimate nature is seen right to the end keeping true to their characters. This is a heartwarming tale of romance, family bounds, and priorities, that is true to Melissa Foster's great writing skill.

Trish Ryder is a squeaky clean, hardworking actress who is excited by the prospect of working with rock star Boone Stryker on a script that could launch her career to new heights and win her an Oscar. However, Boone misses meetings, freezes up on camera and is surrounded by partying groupies. Trish is watching her future slip through her fingers and Boone is hiding his past. In a last-ditch effort to salvage the movie the director sends them away together to the middle of nowhere for 10 days. They have 10 days to get it together, get Boone's acting up to par, and to see if the spark between them can become a flame. But Trish's digging into Boone is hurting both of them. Can they survive these days and make a movie? And will the spark survive? I really enjoyed this book, as always for Melissa Foster's books. Then tension and spark between these two was amazing, and the writing was so well developed that I could picture the scenes in my mind without trying. It was also very nice to see more of the Ryder family and watch them interact with their little sister. I can't wait for more!

I can't believe I'm going to jump off the actual family track of the Ryders to say I think Boone may be my favorite Melissa Foster man yet. There's just something about a man that puts family ahead of himself. I am definitely a Boone Stryker fan. Add to all the great parts of Boone the female strength brought to the story by Trish, and sparks are surely going to fly whenever the two of them are put together. Strong females draw me to any story but Foster's females tend to be so strong I know I'll find what I like. The fact that Trish has a career her family probably doesn't want her having helps me want to be her friend. Another point that drew me into this book was Hurricane, WV. Yes, I'm from upstate NY. Yes, I live in Western NC. WV always feels like home. Ever since spending college at WVU, I love everything about the state. Sending Trish and Boone to Hurricane really had me not wanting to put the book down Not a thing about this book disappointed. Pick one up!

Bad boy rocker meets America's sweetheart ... let the corruption begin! :) Sweet, yet feisty ... sexy, yet down-to-earth. Two successful people who, from their reputations, wouldn't fit together .. but they DO! Great addition to the always enjoyable Love in Bloom series by Melissa Foster! She has a way with words that endears a family in our hearts and watching each sibling and friend go on to meet their true love is such a joy! Actress Trish Ryder is excited to get the opportunity to act with rocker bad boy Boone Stryker in her newest movie. It's dark and gritty and has the potential to be a huge hit, but when right off the bat Boone is blowing off meetings and making everyone on the project suffer, she's not impressed any more! When his trouble with his part leads their director to banish them to a remote location, she has no clue what she's in for! Boone is a successful rock star with the party all night, groupies in every town, live for the moment reputation to prove it. When he lets his guard down with Trish and she actually gets to meet the guy beneath the persona, she really likes him. They grow closer during their time together and then the game is over and it's time to get back to the real world ... filming this movie, dealing with press, handling emergencies, etc. Will their fling be able to last a lifetime or will introducing the real world into it have it be over before it has even begun?
