I brought this book for my sister as a birthday present but after just flipping through the book I know that I don't want to give it to her. This book is disgusting and filled with tips on how to be a whore. It is not suitable for anyone to read and it is definitely not the way to find a guy (one worth keeping anyways). It breaks my heart that some girls will read this and think that this is how they should act because it is completely wrong. I am selling it back because it shames my bookshelf.

First off, YES, this book can be considered dirty and is definitely NOT appropriate for underage girls - I agree that some parts are distasteful. That being said, I think overall it's a fine book. I am not a rocker-chick-bad-girl type in any way, but I did enjoy some of the tips in this book. The tips are alphabetized; each section ranges from a single page to several, and many of the tips are written by female musicians and others (Imogen Heap, Katy Perry, and Dita Von Teese to name a few). There are cute drawings (none of them are really dirty!) - they're just illustrations, and I think they add to the appeal of the book. Not all of them are good tips - it's true that some of the suggestions for how to flirt and hooking up are kind of trashy. But I think the book does have more to offer - two of my personal favorite sections are the one on fashion, part of which gives a break-down of some of the popular items and styles ranging from the 50's to the 80's, and tips on creating your own unique style, and the one on "tramping" (yes, an evocative title - it's actually about jumping on the trampoline for exercise!). I even loved the section on strip-tease - it actually gave good tips, and I think there's nothing wrong with performing for a significant other. I also have to point out that the book itself is very beautiful - the purple and black design, the illustrations, even the paper - I bought this book 4 years ago, and the paper hasn't yellowed at all. That doesn't really have anything to do with the content of the book, but I felt I had to point it out. Overall, I do recommend this book to people who are willing to look past the trashy parts, and take from the book the things they find useful.

This book is horrible. It teaches you about things like striptease and sex appeal! I read the free sample of it and I'm really happy that I didn't buy the full version.

I love the Runaways song, Cheery Bomb, so when I came across this, I knew it was a must have read! Filled with GREAT insights from some of the most rockin' chicks out there, any girl should get herself this one as a gift.
