Tagline: Christmas with the confirmed bachelor

Quaint Christmas or quirky vacation? Newcomer Maggie Iverson comes to the small resort town of Snowfall, Vermont, for a one-week reprieve from her high-powered marketing job in Boston. She's designing a new website to boost tourism traffic (both virtual and foot) to Snowfall for the holidays. She enthusiastically throws herself into all things Christmas, but deftly dodges each match-making hint.

Long-time bachelor and veterinarian Alden Marshall has never embraced the holiday season, but when he meets Maggie, their chemistry is powerful enough to light up a dozen Christmas trees. Suddenly he finds himself immersed in the town's merry-making with Maggie by his side.

Will the magic of Christmas cast the spell Maggie and Alden need to let go of their pasts and finally find a love that lasts?

Everything I love about a Christmas story! A wonderful read to get you into the holiday spirit. Snowfall is a wonderful small town with quirky locals and an interesting history, but dropping tourism numbers. Maggie has come to town to help design a new website to showcase the town and help bring tourists back. Alden Marshall has been in Snowfall for the past 3 years, returning to the town where he his family has history and a bit of notoriety that he hasn’t quite overcome. Sparks and a bit of meddling from the townspeople keep bringing the two together. This was a truly sweet read that embodies all that I love about Christmas stories: Small town, wonderful characters, traditions, and a sweet romance. This was a perfect book to read while snuggled into a cozy blanket with a warm drink. #ReadTulez #ErikaMarks #ChristmasComestoSnowfall

Christmas Comes to Snowfall by Erika Marks. This is Maggie Iverson and Alden Marshall’s story. Maggie comes to Snowfall to design a new website to help boost tourism in the town for the holidays and meets Alden who is a veterinarian. Neither have time for a relationship but you never know what can happen with the magic of Christmas or Ezzie’s meddling. I really loved Maggie and Alden’s characters. There were so many characters in Snowfall that added to the story but Ezzie was so much fun. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I so enjoyed this sweet Christmas romance. Maggie , workaholic has arrived in Snowfall to design a new website to boost tourism. She doesn't to Christmas, three broken relationships in the past during the holiday season. Alden is the town veterinarian, who has never been well accepted in the town. Many fear that his family is to be blamed for curse of no snow on Christmas Day. There is no denying the chemistry between Maggie and Alden but they just want to both be friends, that is the plan. But with help of matchmaker, Ezzie things might change. This story will for sure put you in the Christmas mood from making cookies and sledding. Loved the development of the characters for their HEA. Loved the quirky residents of this town. I highly recommend this sweet Christmas story.

A sweet fast -paced holiday romance. Maggie Iverson is workaholic who is hired to design a website for the town of Snowfall, Vermont, where the snow has fallen every Christmas since 1917. But this year, the town is worried there might not be any snow. Maggie is anxious to get to work. She doesn’t mind working through Christmas as she doesn’t have family or a boyfriend to spend time with. Alden Marshall moved to Snowfall three years ago to open his veterinary clinic. Most of Snowfall’s residents haven’t warmed up to Alden because they believe Alden’s great-grandfather cursed the town when he broke the heart of a baker. Every year everyone makes gingerbread men to hang on a Christmas tree in hopes of snowfall for Christmas day. As Maggie starts to learn more about Snowfall and the people who live there, she really begins to enjoy herself, especially the time she spends with Alden. The last thing on Maggie and Alden’s minds is a relationship, but that doesn’t stop the town matchmaker, Ezzie, from trying to hook them up. Maybe it’s Ezzie’s work or maybe it’s just a little bit of Christmas magic that brings them together. I really enjoyed this book. I would have loved for the story to have been longer, but there was a lot of information and entertainment packed into the pages. I especially liked the tubing scene and Maggie’s flavor meditation. My favorite quote in the book is: “Her last three relationships broke up around Christmas so she’s decided not to date during the holidays anymore” “Hey, that’s great!” Randy’s eyes grew with his grin. “Her bad luck and your curse? You’re perfect for each other!”

Maggie is super dedicated to her career and afraid of getting her heart broken. Alden has inherited a Christmas grudge some of the town has against his great-grandfather and is ready to leave town. They have an instant attraction but agree to a friendship as a way to avoid to their fear of finding love. The characters were likable, especially lodge owner, Ezzie. It’s a quick read but a complete story that completely captures the small-town charm. Christmas Comes to Snowfall is a good book to curl up to.
