Marquis Silivasi is an Ancient Master Warrior in the arcane house of Jadon: a clan of lethal vampires living in the Rocky Mountains. Known to be harsh, unyielding, and socially inept, he and his iron core yield to only one person--his destiny, Ciopori Demir.

The beautiful, ancient princess can bend Marquis's will--and melt the vampire's heart--with nothing more than a crook of her finger. She owns the keys to his soul. Only this year, at Christmas, she has gone too far...

She has meddled in vampire-human affairs.

She has plotted behind Marquis's back.

And she has disturbed his fragile peace by offering to host a Christmas Eve Gala at the couple's private estate, which is secluded for a reason...

It is time to teach the female a lesson--Marquis is still the master of his domain!

A serene, picturesque valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains; an internal family squabble, boiling to the surface; and a Christmas Eve feast, hosted by creatures of the night who don't eat, can't cook, and rarely socialize with humans...

What could go wrong?

Join the vampires of Dark Moon Vale in this holiday adventure filled with treachery, vengeance, and mayhem: CHRISTMAS IN DARK MOON VALE by Tessa Dawn ~ A Blood Curse Series Novella.

About the Author

Tessa Dawn grew up in Colorado, where she developed a deep affinity for the Rocky Mountains. After graduating with a degree in psychology, she worked for several years in criminal justice and mental health before returning to get her master’s degree in nonprofit management.

Tessa began writing as a child and composed her first full-length novel at the age of eleven. By the time she graduated high-school, she had a banker’s box full of short-stories and novels. Since then, she has published works as diverse as poetry, greeting cards, workbooks for kids with autism, and academic curricula. Her Dark Fantasy/Gothic Romance novels represent her long-desired return to her creative-writing roots and her passionate flair for storytelling.

Tessa currently splits her time between the Colorado suburbs and mountains with her husband, two children, and “one very crazy cat.” She hopes to one day move to the country where she can own horses and what she considers “the most beautiful creature ever created” -- a German shepherd.

Writing is her bliss.

Christmas in Dark Moon Vale is book #9.5 of the Blood Curse series. They say big things come in small packages. This couldn’t be a truer statement with this tiny novella. As always, Author Tessa Dawn gifts us with a neatly wrap story and as you peel back the pages you will find every human emotion tucked inside. Be ready to escape your reality and spend a festive holiday with Vampires and Humans. Giggles will lead to outright bursts of laughter, surprise to gasp, and heart-warming moments to tears. This oh so small book is truly a mighty masterpiece, perfectly matched to a night on a comfy sofa with your favorite throw and a nice warm beverage, as you sit back, relax and let Christmas in Dark Moon Vale give you the best Christmas present ever, emotional release. Happy ready!

O.m.g.! Tessa Dawn does it again! This book was amazing! I still think Marquis is a tyrant and in this book he shows his true colors and it doesn't ever change. I did laugh and enjoy some of the banter between all the sisters and was amazed with Nathaniel's diplomacy towards the 'loyal humans'. I found the kids adorable and trouble makers, and at the end I teared up. Even though this is a short story, it was well written and deffinately worth the read. A great addition to the rest of the series. I would rate this as a 10* if I could along with the rest of this series. I have a few favorites that I have read more than the others though like Nathaniel's story, Deanna's story, Napolean's story, and both Saxton and Ramsey Olaru's story. Ok, I'm bad with names and spelling but if you read the entire series then you know the one's I like the best. I'm still waiting for book 10 to come out and have been since last year. This book is going be re-read again and a in by me. Its that good and that much worth it.

Absolutely loved this novella!!! It can be read as a stand alone, but is so much better if you've read the Blood Curse series. I enjoyed seeing the whole Silivasi clan together. It was great finding out what they have all been up to and the personalities of the children. The gifts given by Keitaro brought a tear to my eye. Can't get enough of this series. Highly recommend.
