Cinderella's Cowboy by Roxanne Snopek

Chad Anders doesn't know why mousy Cynthia Henley trips all over her tongue when she's around him. Nor does he understand his undeniable attraction to this good girl. Wild and sexy is his type, like the dream-girl he caught a glimpse of years earlier he's never forgotten.

Cynthia's superpower is invisibility, especially with men. It's better for everyone that way. Besides, she's got a cat. She's okay. But when playboy-rancher Chad hires her, she's got a chance to shine. Professionally, at least. Until she learns of his fascination with a mysterious dream-girl, who was actually nothing more than a shy teenager on an ill-advised dare all those years ago. Cynthia knows she's no man's dream-girl and never will be.

But there's magic at the ball. Princesses glow in the starlight, princes appear out of nowhere, and, sometimes, they look a lot like cowboys...

Roxanne Snopek started out with a good concept but her editor did not hold her feet to the fire. The story was full of interesting tidbits but like an empty cream puff, you were left unsatisfied and wishing for more. Cyn was the sister who followed through. Her sisters were full of ideas but had no real concept of how to bring results based upon creatvity and sweat equity. Ms. Snopek missed many writing opportunities to develop her characters by filling out little snippets she shared. Instead she wrote endings that left so many thoughts untasted and curt. I won't be looking for Maddie's or her twin's romance. Ms. Snopek did not use her chance to bring them aluve to me. It isn't a cliffhanger, but the author did not build her charactors to life for me.

I actually enjoyed the book. Of what there was of it. Roughly 100 pages. I was thinking this was a great story and then it was done. I really wished it could have gone on a bit longer.

Who doesn't love a Cinderella story and add in a hot cowboy?! My only complaint, I wish it was longer but a nice, fun, pretty clean read

The first few chapters was difficult to follow which character was "speaking" their thoughts, confusing at first but I managed to the end. It was a sweet story, nonetheless.

This story is very entertaining and sweet. I love how the relationship with the step-sisters is loving and the problem is more about how invisible she is when with them. I loved Chad. He’s drawn to her and doesn’t fight it. A very nice story.

Reviewed by Danielle Urban for Readers' Favorite Cinderella's Cowboy is an original yet realistic twist on the all time favorite story. A small-town contemporary romance that will leave all inspired. Cowboys are hot in the romance genre, and Roxanne Snopek definitely knows how to bring her readers a real, romantic tale. One that will tug at their hearts and leave them waiting for the next great masterpiece. There's always an adventure when one's heart is put on the line. Here we see how one's dreams are nothing like what one's heart really desires. Cynthia is a tough woman who believes she's invisible when it comes to men and yet somehow, she is capable of roping in a man without him even realizing it. They both don't realize what they want is much more difficult when what they need is right there in front of them. Roxanne Snopek has beautifully created a heart warming romance that readers will love. Her characters are like a contradiction unto themselves. Cynthia thinks no man can see her as a woman, yet one particular cowboy does see her and is left pondering about her a lot. Then there's Chad, who sees himself with a hot wild woman, yet there's a good girl right in front of him and he is feeling a tug towards her. Maybe it's her personality that attracts him to her like a moth to a flame or maybe it's just the way she reacts around him. Cynthia is similar to Cinderella in the way that she works all the time, yet she is the plain looking sister who might just catch herself a hot man after all. A woman can dream. Cinderella's Cowboy is a modern western tale that readers can easily connect with and are left wondering as to what will happen between a notorious playboy and a good girl. Overall, I highly recommend this enchanting romance to all.

Quiet girl with a secret and the cowboy who thought he knew it all, thrown together planing a fundraiser. Opposites attract, and a cat in the mix--what's not to love! Enjoyed this fun story. **I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion**

A modern day fairytale loosely based on Cinderella, one of my favorites. Cynthia has two gorgeous twin step sisters, who have always been in with the good looks and boys. Cynthia on the other hand is just average and has a speech impediment. Chad is a cowboy and a playboy, never looking for anything serious. Cynthia has taken on the job of hosting a party for Chad business, otherwise known as the ball. Can these two opposites, fight off the attraction. This is the fourth book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Once again Roxanne has he trademark of a cute animal in the story line. Love the humor with this story. I highly recommend this for a fun afternoon read. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

I was provided with a free copy of this book so I could give an honest review. I had read the first book in this series and then was offered this one for free in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed it - sweet romance, some tears, some laughs, likeable characters and a chance to revisit friends from the first book. Now I need to pick up books 2 and 3 in the series to see what I missed, Easy, fun read.

This is a wonderful addition to the ‘This Old House” series. But it can be read on its own as well. When Chad Anders comes to DMC Solutions for an event him and his brother are planning, Cynthia Henley gets excited. Chad is an old school girl crush of Cynthia’s. He is also a man who ran through women like gumballs from a machine. Can she work with him without getting pulled back to her old feelings? Chad and his brother Eric are launching their charitable foundation, Building Tomorrow, with a fundraiser for Logan Stafford’s heritage house restoration project. They want Cynthia to help do the planning for them. With her business partners, step-sisters, absent most of the time, Cynthia has the job to do all on her own. She is determined to make it a huge success no matter what distractions or problems come her way. Neither, Cynthia or Chad had any idea that their time spent together will lead to bigger things for both of them. Life changing things. The happily ever after kind. This is a really cute romantic comedy type book. It’s a fun and light hearted read.
