Civil War Flags of Illinois

Photos and history of the flags carried by each Illinois Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery Regiment during the civil War. The material has been gleaned from newspapers, regimental histories, soldiers' diaries, museum files and personal communications. Also included in the book is the history of each regiment and the home county of the men enlisting in each company.
