Claim Me Hard by Vanessa Vale

Hiding from a crazy ex-boyfriend, Hannah Winters is determined to keep her head down and her heart locked safely away. Burned out from practicing medicine and dealing with a controlling jerk, her interest in romance is at absolute zero...until they walk in. One look at Cole and Declan and Hannah is going to have a very hard time keeping the ice around her heart from melting.

Declan grew up in Bridgewater, and his job as a police officer means he's got an instinct for trouble, and Hannah Winters stirs up all kind of feelings he can't fight. When his friend, Cole finds out about the sexy type-A woman with desire in her eyes but lies on her lips, he's just as determined to tame her and uncover her deepest fears-and desires.

When her past catches up to her, it'll be Cole and Declan who convince her to stop running, from her past, and from the desire burning white hot between them. They're going to claim her, even if they have to do it the hard seductive kiss at a time.

YOU’RE MINE AND I’M NEVER LETTING YOU GO Book two in the Bridgewater County series is another amazing adventure that is a spinoff from the historical based Bridgewater Menage series but takes place in present day. The town of Bridgewater, Montana, still holds with the founding father principals of two or three alpha dominant males claiming and marrying one woman, and partnering for life. This method has proven successful for over a hundred years and why change what works? The story will read as a standalone. It will have characters from the first book, Ride Me Dirty. Dr. Hannah Lauren Winters is no wallflower. Having gone to Stanford and now working in the ER of a hospital, she has seen and handled it all, and can hold her own. Working with women who come in and have been battered and broken by men, she has counseled and advised them on breaking away and provided the help to do so. Why can’t she listen to her own advice, and it will take another broken woman to make her see she needs to practice what she preaches. Hannah will finally realize that if she is to live, she must escape from her abusive ex-boyfriend, Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Madison. It will require walking away from everything and going under the radar. No cell phone, no vehicle, no ATM, or the use of credit cards. She can’t even be a doctor, or he can find her. When the bus stops in Bridgewater, Montana, Hannah will get off and walk around the quaint western town, and when she misses the bus, she will stay. Now she needs a job, and Jessie will hire her to work at the diner as a waitress, and offer her an apartment over the diner to live. When two men, Cole and Declan, come in each day to sit in her section and flirt, she will learn that not one of them, but both of them what to date her, together. Finding out that this is the norm in Bridgewater comes as a complete shock, but it must work since it has been the way things have been for over a hundred years. “They are loyal, sincere, chivalrous—and possessive.” The plot will have Hannah on the run, leaving behind everything she has worked for to become a doctor, including acceptance into a new practice. She must remain under the radar of Brad and will go by Hannah Lauren and avoid using anything for him to track. When she learns of the “Bridgewater way of life” she will be shocked but fascinated. Having two men vie for her attention and telling her that she is theirs, even if she doesn’t know it yet, is scary. She is escaping one controlling man, and the thought of two more is more than she wants. With the entire town pushing for Cole, Declan, and Hannah to get together, she is willing to go out on a date with them to the local watering hole. Having two women vouching for the Bridgewater men and their proven way helps for the night, but she plans on only one night. “They believe in making sure she is always taken care of—her problems are their problems. It’s their duty to make sure she is happy—and satisfied.” A life and death situation will open the door for discovery for Hannah and just when she was learning to be happy and trust Cole and Declan; she will feel the need to run. Can the men prove to her they want her to stay and that they will keep her safe? When the opportunity for her to continue being a doctor comes to light, will she be willing to settle in Bridgewater and find her happily-ever-after ending? “I’d found where I belonged. Good from bad. Light from dark.”

To me Vale never disappoints , my only worry with the stories is if you read a few in a row, the scenes are predictable and begin to repeat .

This is the second book in the series. Hannah is on the run from her abusive ex. She runs from a nightmare, but she may end right where she's meant to be. Cole and Declan take a shine to Hannah. They're going to show her how a man is supposed to cherish their woman. Can they convince Hannah. There is also the threat from her ex. This book is very steamy. It's a MFM relationship. The way of relationships in Bridgewater may not be society's norm, but it works for this town. It's a shock to an u=outsider like Hannah, but Cole and Declan are up to the task to show her the benefits of that type of relationship.

This is book 2 in the Bridgewater County series and it features Hannah, Cole and Declan. Hannah is in hiding but really, how long did she think she could hold out with a cowboy and a cop wanting her? I think the better question is WHY would she want to hold out? These two men are drool worthy and who better to protect her from what or who she's running from? Where are the little towns like this one because I'd sure like to move there. This is another great story from this fabulous author that writes amazing ménage stories. As always, I can't wait for the next one!

Vanessa Vale's "Claim Me Hard" is the second tale in a great new series, Bridgewater County. This is a spinoff series of her historical Bridgewater Menage series, but it is not necessary to have read that series. I am loving this new series! Vale really knows how to write a girl on the run from an obsessive ex. Declan and Cole are super hot! I'm seriously considering a pilgrimage to Montana. Lots of yummy sex scenes.

This is one steamy series that just keeps getting better and better. Hannah is a doctor that is hiding out from her abusive ex and ends up in Bridgewater, Montana. She works as a waitress and meets Cole and Declan, will she be accepting of the Bridgewater way of life? Can they protect her from her ex? Fast paced read with lots of drama and off the charts steamy sex, I loved it!

This is the second book of the contemporary Bridgewater series and it doesn't disappoint! Vanessa Vale's stories are well written, they pull you into the character's lives, and the sex is always steamy. I read this in one sitting and wished for more! This book starts off with a bang and I was ready to dive right in with the three main characters. The townspeople were pulling for them to get together and I was, too. Additionally, I like when characters from previous books show up in new stories and that happens a few times in this one. I gave 4.5 out of 5 stars for two reasons. First, I wanted a little more to happen in the Hannah's backstory to get her Bridgewater. And second, I felt she had a stronger connection with Cole than Declan. I really enjoy how Ms. Vale has continued her historical series in modern times. It's fun to see the same types of relationships develop in a contemporary setting. I can't wait for the next installment. I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK

Claim Me Hard by Vanessa Vale is Book 2 in the Bridgewater County Series. Hannah is on the run from an abusive ex-boyfriend, and embarassed by it. She is an educated woman, and in her previous life as an ER doctor, she had counseled abused women. But Hannah's abuser is a highly ranking military man; respected and worldly. Hannah did the first thing she could think of in her panic; she jumped a bus. The bus stopped in Bridgewater County, where the culture is very different than Hannah is used to. And culture shock hits in the form of Declan and Cole, who've decided Hannah is theirs. Another wonderful and steamy read by the queen of menage's. Full 5 stars. I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. The Bridgewater Menage series were fantastic books and now The Bridgewater County series is proving to be just as good. I loved this book. Its sexy and very erotic. The beginning of the story regarding Hannah was unfortunate in that she was subjected to abuse by someone she had trusted. Her escape and finding Declan and Cole make this a HEA story. I highly recommend this book along with the others in these two series. You will not be disappointed.
