About the Author

Bob Rosebrough is an avid outdoorsman and mountaineer, lawyer, and author of multiple books, including two prior editions of Climbing Colorado’s San Juans. Bob lives in Gallup, New Mexico, where, as mayor, he was instrumental in developing hiking and mountain biking trails. He has climbed in the San Juans for over fifty years.

Matt Payne is a mountaineer and nature/landscape photographer living in Durango, Colorado, and is the host of the photography podcast, F-Stop Collaborate and Listen. Matt has climbed all of Colorado’s Fourteeners and the highest 100 peaks in the state.
