Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken

Complete stand alone from #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Rachel Van Dyken
Four guys.

Constant moaning.

And a revolving door across the college suite I somehow ended up in because my first name is Shawn.

They don't discriminate. Girls. Guys. Grandmas. Plants (okay maybe not plants) all walks of life stroll in stressed to the brim, and leave so satisfied I'm wondering what sort of talents lie behind that door.

My roommate calls them the pleasure ponies.

But the rest of the college campus?

They just call them the new face of Wingmen Inc. A paid for relationship service that makes big promises.

Breakup? They'll glue you back together again.

Depressed? They have the magic pill.

Lonely? Just spend a few minutes while they rub you down and you'll forget all about it.

And broken hearts? Well, that's their specialty. They'll fix you.

For a price…

I swore I wouldn't get involved.

But apparently they like a challenge, and a girl who doesn't put up with their BS is basically like waving a red flag in front of a bull.

They. All. Charged.

But one holds my attention above the rest.

Knox Tate looks like a Viking — and getting pillaged is starting to look more appealing by the day. Though he's hiding something — all of them are. And the closer I get. The more I realize that some things are left better in the past.

You've read reverse harem books before — but you've never read one like this. It's not what you think, or is it? Dive in and find out…

Knox, Leo, Finn, and Slater are waiting, and they aren't patient men.

This author is one of the ones I click without even having to read anything about the book because I know I will thoroughly enjoy the story, and this book lived up to my expectations. I loved Shawn's sassy comebacks to the guys, I loved the protectiveness of Slater and the playfulness of Leo and Finn, and the sexiness of Knox. Now put all four of these guys with Shawn, and they are just absolutely adorable and a group of guys I would love to call my friends. Loved it so much that I had trouble putting it down and hated that I had to sleep to be able to function.

Shawn has recently transferred to the University of Washington for a new start but due to a mistake with her name she ends up in the male dorm. If it isn’t bad enough to have a male roommate Slater she also shares a suite with three other men Leo, Finn and Knox. Slater is quick to warn her to stay away from the other men and although they seem to have women entering their rooms at all times she is like a moth to a flame and she can’t stay away. The men are very different but they all make her feel special and protected in their own way however there is something about Knox she can’t resist. The only problem is that he has secrets and the person he most wants to protect her from is himself. I loved all the characters and the humor, heat, twists and emotions make this a story you won’t soon forget.

I received a copy of this book from the author. I recently went to Los Angeles, CA to see the first Wingman Ink book (The Matchmaker's Playbook) movie premier. I loved the movie. I hadn't read the whole book by the time I got to LA to watch it but I was over half way through so I knew what was happening in the movie. Saying all that when this installment of Wingman Ink came along I wanted to read it. This is the third one but you can read each as a stand alone. In fact the main characters in the first two books only have a small role in this novel. Co-Ed features a woman named Shawn who'd been mistakenly placed in a suite with three men. She was pretty much used to being referred to as a guy since her name was typically belonged to one. This suite just so happened to belong to the men of Wingman Ink. As much as she fights it Shawn can't get away from her attraction to Knox. There's just something about him she wants to explore. He has his own demons but can't stay away from Shawn either. Though if Shawn's roommate has anything to do with it Shawn and Knox will not be together. You'll find a tad bit of drama in this book. You'll probably even chuckle a time or two. I enjoyed reading these characters. They did Wingman Ink proud.

What a fantastic read. Can't get get enough of these characters. Fantasic read about transfer student Shawn and living across from the "Pleasure Ponies" lol. Their story is full of fun and heartache. I was laughing and yet towards the end got chills when the truth was revealed . Absolutely love this book .

Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken Reviewed by Christina Linton #CO-ED #RVD #Stand-A-Lone!  You’ll definitely will enjoy this story, who wouldn’t, Four insanely HOT guys at your fingertip!! ;-) Co-Ed is a stand alone title, you Do Not need to read the Matchmakers Playbook to enjoy this story. Co-Ed takes you on one hell of a joy ride with Four insanely gorgeous guys, who calls themselves the “Pleasure Ponies” You’ll fall in love with this crew like any of Rachel Van Dyken’s characters in past stories. Lets see, the female character, Shawn was definitely one of my favorite heroine in this story. She’s strong, funny, gorgeous and top it off, she has to share a dorm with four guys! Life can not get any better, right?? ;-) Until she meets KNOX… Now as for most novels, you’ll get just a hero and heroine but in Co-Ed you get Four heroes in this book. Knox being the leader of the group. Leo and Finn who are definitely laugh-out-loud hilarious. They like yin and yang, they keep the group balanced. Lastly you have Slater, the unicorn loving Slater , LOL! One thing I love about this story was Rachel Van Dyken’s take on a reverse harem. You’ll probably thinking WHAT!! Right? Just wait in see, you’ll definitely enjoy this. There’s so much more to say about Co-Ed, Shawn, the four guys but I don’t want to ruin this for anyone. I want everyone to enjoy this story as much as I did. ENJOY!!! I was given an early copy of this book in exchange of a honest and non-biased review.

Where can I start with Co-Ed, it has been hands down my favorite read of this year. Rachel Van Dyken’s new spin on a reverse harem is something that you will love. For Shawn transferring to a college was hard but being room up with 4 seriously hot men doesn’t sound too bad…unless your new roommates are the newest Wingmen Inc creation. When Shawn’s roomie Slater advises her not to get mixed up with the Pleasure Ponies, she has no idea just how much she should have taken his advice seriously. The Pleasure Ponies are hot, sexy and willing to service all; their list of clients runs from regular college guys and girls and even your typical granny that lives next door. When Shawn enters a weird and unique friendship with the three she never expected to fall for Knox Tate. Co-Ed is a college themed romantic comedy that has the perfect mix of sexual tension, romance and of course comedic relief. I could not get enough of Co-Ed, it hooked me right from the start; with great characters and an excellent story line you will not be disappointed. Fingers crossed that we get to see more of the Pleasure Ponies in the future.

Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken is a spin-off standalone romance set in the world of The Wingmen and is sexy, steamy, and heartwarming. Told in dual POV between Knox, one of the new generation of Wingmen, and Shawn, the poor unfortunate female soul with a boys name which lands her in the boys suite of her co-ed dorm. As a new transfer Shawn takes what she can get as far as room assignments but when her rest is interrupted thanks to the questionable activities of her suite-mates she wants to throw in the towel. When she actually lays eyes on the "Pleasure Ponies" that are across the way she is immediately drawn to the tall viking God of the bunch, Knox. Knox has been closed down for the past three years. Yes, he's been putting in his time as an Intern with Wingmen Inc., but his soul has not been in it. Not since the incident. The new girl in their dorm has him all twisted up and he has no idea how to handle himself around her. Sexy, steamy, with just enough angst to keep this a page-turner the relationship between Shawn and Knox (and Finn and Leo and Slater) is scorching. Loved it! Enjoy!

Ooh I enjoyed this latest offering from RVD. It was a real page turner and had me hooked from the very first page. Yes, there is a male and female lead, that I loved, but given that this is RVD's take on a Reverse Harem storyline, then this book has some really well fleshed out supporting characters. For me Co-Ed was packed full with wit and humor which had me smiling and chuckling throughout but it also had an edge of intrigue running through it that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. Another really enjoyable read from RVD that I would happily recommend. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I have opted to to leave a review.
