I found this book to be an very good guide for coaching soccer for U6 through U12 age groups. The book is well organized and contains a chapter for each basic skill such as passing, spacing, and receiving. Each chapter has some overall advice and then 10-25 drills and small sided games that you can do with the kids to help them work on that skill. Each drill is explained clearly enough to be understood and comes with a diagram illstrating the exercise. There are tips on how to increase or decrease the complexity of the drill and the author gives the age range that he feels is most appropriate for the exercise. This book made planning my soccer practices much easier.
