A new novel of "toe-curling" erotic romance from the national bestselling author of Laid Bare.

After his parents' death, Brody gave up a promising career to care for his family. Now, with his siblings grown, Brody owns his own business, and for the first time in years he's alone. Elise has come to Seattle with her daughter to find peace. After years as a world-famous ballerina-and trapped in a marriage gone bad-she's looking for neither love nor attention. But she finds both in the handsome, honest man who befriends her with no strings attached.

Brody and Elise discover in each other the wild, physical passion they need. But it'll take a shadow from Elise's past to make them look beyond what they need-to what they truly desire.

The 1st book in the series, LAID BARE, was one of my favorite books on 2009. I have bought several copies for Christmas/Birthday presents and recommended it to countless people. I was lucky enough to get a galley copy of COMING UNDONE which releases in January 2010. I am just in awe of the was Ms. Dane writes. The emotion and depth of feeling expressed in these books is amazing. COMING UNDONE features Brody and Elise. They both have pasts that haunt them in one way or another, but have forged lives for themselves that are fulfilling and happy. Even with family and friends, there is something missing, something the might find in each other if they give it a chance. Elise's growth throughout the book is amazing and incredible realistic. The emotional turmoil that Elise is thrown into when things from the past find their way into the future is heart-wrenching and I couldn't put the book down until I knew that Elise, her daughter, and Brody were going to be okay. What I love so much about the book is how the characters are flawed and human - someone the reader can relate to. The reader is also treated to appearances from the characters from past books. We get to see Erin, Ben, and Todd from LAID BARE and how their relationship has grown, Adrian and Cope also make an appearance. The only thing bad I can say about Lauren Dane is that I have to wait almost a whole year until Cope's story.

When she broke her leg, she broke her dream of becoming a ballerina. However, she has no time to mope as she has a daughter to raise. So needing a change of scenery, Elise and her child leave New York for the Left Coast Seattle.--------- Her next door neighbor tattoo parlor owner Brody Brown gave up his dreams to raise his siblings when their parents died. He rides a motorcycle as he seeks the wild side he gave up out of family responsibility. Brody and Elise are not looking for any involvement beyond casual sex so why each wonders do they want more in their relationship. However, when New York comes to Seattle, Elise keeps Brody out of her trouble that has followed her and her daughter from the Right Coast to Washington State; but he refuses to stay out of it as this is his two females.--------- This is a heated contemporary romance starring the Brown family patriarch and his new neighbor. Both have baggage, but the most important thing in their fling is not to harm her daughter. Fans will enjoy love between two likable individuals who cannot stop their nurturing need to help and the heat of desire from exploding while their love for one another ignites them. Lauren Dane is two for two with the Brown saga, but fans will have to cope with the wait for the next Brownian romance.------ Harriet Klausner

I absolutely loved Brody and Elise's story!! Their story is my absolute favorite of the Brown Siblings series. What woman doesn't want a HOT, WONDERFUL, LOVING, PROTECTIVE, AND CARING man like Brody Brown??! My goodness does he love Elise with everything in him. Brody deserves his happiness, as does Elise. And who doesn't love little Miss Rennie??

## Holy crap I loved this book. I picked it up after reading the first one in the series 'Laid Bare' which I loved as well. Both books were absolutely fabulous! The first book was riviting. And this one was unforgettable. The heroine Elise was perfection. I adored her for her strengh, kindness and especially her playfulness (I can rarely say this about a heroine). And don't even get me started on the hero. Talk about a walking wet dream. Jeez! The chemistry between these two was intoxicating. This book is worth every penny!

Wonderful sequel. A quick and easy read that did not disappoint. Characters had time to grow without the storyline feeling slow or forced. Ready for book three.

I've read a couple novellas from Lauren Dane before that were good, but too short, so I was interested in reading a longer title by Ms. Dane. When I found this series, I deliberately avoided reading the first in this series "Laid Bare" (even though all the reviews say it's great!) because the ménage à trois romance just doesn't appeal to me. Admittedly, I was intrigued by Brody and Elise's story but didnt know what to expect. Boy, am I glad I gave it a chance! Believable characters and of the most well-written books, I've read in this genre in a LONG LONG time. I loved that this wasn't a fall-in-love-and propose-marriage-in-3-days type of romance novel although Brody Brown sounds like a man who could make a lady swoon and lose her senses!! It's not quick read but I finished it in a day because I just couldn't put it down. And thankfully, there's just enough in this story that I got the gist of Brody's sister Erin's (and her two men) story too, so I didnt feel like I was missing some critical background since Erin and the other family members play a major role in this book.

I have now read all four of the Brown Sibling series and find that Coming Undone, which is Brody's story, is my favorite. All of the stories in this series are wonderful, but there is something about Brody that captured my heart. I laughed, cried, and was totally turned on while reading this book. Brody is the eldest of the 3 siblings and has raised them since he was 17 years old when their parents died in an automobile accident. He is such a caring, honest, loving, intelligent, talented, and romantic man. Not to mention how hot he is. This is a beautiful love story between two people who belonged together both physically and emotionally. They had very hot steamy sex. i wish there were more books in this series, but now that the siblings and other main characters have all had their stories told, there really isn't anyone else in this family to write about. I like the way Lauren Dane writes and will most likely be reading more of her books.

I very much enjoyed this book. It is not just about sex or erotic scenes - there is a lot more to the story.

In Coming undone you have the oldest of the Brown siblings, Brody; who at 18 took on the responsibility of raising his sister and brother after the untimely death of their parents. He gave up going to art school, because family was and is everything to him. He owns his on tattoo shop and is considered the best in his field. He a big guy with tattoo's himself, but hes a teddy bear, and it's his time to find love. I love how this has a real world feel, it has depth to the story, the men and women have something deep to contribute to the story; the women have a tragedy they have overcome and the men who are steady rocks of support who do not say leave it to me, I'll fix it, don't get me wrong, yeah, they want to, but instead they are a pillar of support. Also, they story brings you in on their journey, and this does not happen over a month but rather a year, yeah a year. I love that, it was a love that lasted, yeah, they new before the year mark, but they didn't rush, but reveled in it, and how family, through the whole book was important.

Never thought I could get worked up about a Harley ridin, tattoo covered "bad boy". But, sweet and sexy-as-hell Brody Brown could put a big smile on any lucky woman's face. This is a great story about sexual attraction growing, over time, into a loving relationship. I have returned to this book several times. It is romantic and erotic and just a great story.

Like a day at the beach, Lauren Dane's second novel in the Brown Siblings series, Coming Undone, is sexy and smooth, bright and memorable, and hot.oh, so hawt! Elise Sorenson arrived in Seattle ready to move forward and make a better life for her daughter. She is a survivor with a capital S, ready to put the chaos and pain of the past behind her and build a normal, loving future for the two of them. With her success as a principal dancer in the National Ballet Theater, Elise has opened a studio and purchased a home. Her life finally feels stable and complete. And even though she enjoys fantasizing about the Harley driving hunk across the street, she has no inclination to disrupt the peace she and her daughter, Rennie, have found at long last. Brodie Brown knows he's got the perfect life. After taking on the responsibility to raise his younger brother and sister at the age of eighteen, he reflects with pride as he watches his brother's rock star career continue to thrive and his sister find happiness in the life she has built with her two men. He owns his own home, runs a premier tattoo parlor, has the love of friends and family and enjoys his freedom. He's got it all and a relationship is the last thing on his mind when a drunk driver hits him in front of his home and an angel comes to his rescue. Coming Undone is a story about family--family by blood and family by bond. It is a slow ride to discover how unlikely friendships come together and enrich each other. Dane's second tale was more than the story about Elise and Brody. It is the story of how Elise, her daughter and her parents come to be part of the Brown's family circle. How Erin (from Laid Bare) and Elise develop an empowering friendship based on their love of Brody and their similar pasts. The unlikely bond that the ballerina and rocker-chick found in their shared tragedies made the story seem genuine. Elise is real. She is the kind of friend you could respect. Elise has seen the gutter and survived, leaving her confident in her convictions. I admire how she has steadfastly kept her priority clear--her daughter. She is fun, good and loyal to the core. Her past has humbled her and taught her compassion for others. I know I could be myself with Elise and that would be all she would want. And I have to love her conviction to always make her daughter's well-being her primary focus even when it means putting your libido on hold. Elise can come teach me to shoot pool or pirouette any day of the week. In Laid Bare, I saw Brodie's protective side, but to be honest, I wanted Todd and Ben to be Erin's protectors. Brodie just came off a little overbearing. Having learned more about him in this book, I find him endearing. I can see that he has actually held back his need to manage Erin and he consciously allowed her husbands to move into his protector role. The way Brodie remembers Rennie by bringing her flowers along with those for her mother or planning dates that not only include Rennie but are designed to entertain her showed how much thought and attention he puts into his relationships. What a charmer! And I have got to be honest. The man knows his way around a bed (or a ballet studio, stairs, hallway, wall, tattoo parlor...and the doorway. Yep, the doorway was good too!) Mmmm. For a compassionate softie, this Harley ridin' tattoo artist knows how to take control and light a fire. Coming Undone moved at a slow and steady pace. It lacked any real tension although th

The 2nd in a series by Dane. Elise, a prima ballerina falls in love and marries an abusive man awho destroys her dancing career. Trying to reclaim her life with her young daughter, she notices her handsome tatooed neighbor and falls in lust. The oldest of the Borwn sidlings, Brody, has always put his family first. Giving up his art career and taking care of his bro & sis when his parents die. Love is the not what he is looking for nor does he think he will ever find. But love is just across the street and Elise and her talented daughter slide into Brody's heart and nothing will prevent him from taking care of them, not even her haunting past. Also recomend Christine Feehan-Ghost Walker and Dark series. Nalini Singh-Psy/changeling series. Sarah McCarty-Hell' Eight. Lora Leigh-anything

Love the Brown siblings. I've reread these books many times and never get bored. You won't regret reading these books. Great story lines, strong characters, lots of laughs and tears. Recommend them to everyone of my friends that read.

Though I thoroughly enjoyed another of Lauren's books (Laid Bare), this one had problems. I love this author's writing, characters and depth of emotion. But in Coming Undone, the ending was a foregone conclusion by the middle of the book. The rest was simply much too drawn out. I found myself skipping through many pages to get some action or new plot points, but everything was predictable and just plodding along. Had it been much shorter I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
