About the Author

BF Monachino was born and raised in Saskatchewan,
Canada. She studied law at the University of Saskatchewan,
Saskatoon, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree. She
practiced law in private law firms and as in-house counsel for
several years with various Canadian and American corporations,
as well as working in international business. She is admitted
to practice before the courts of California and New York and
owns her own consulting firm, TIPS Management, LLC. As an
attorney her expertise is in intellectual property law; she has
advised technology, telecommunication, e-commerce and event
