5 Stars From Sammy's Book Obsession! TITLE~ Conquering (Vipers Creed MC #2) AUTHOR~ Ryan Michele GENRE~ Romance-Bikers/MC PUBLISHED~ Published June 28th 2016 by Ryan Michele PURCHASED~ ARC/Review Copy MY RATING~ 4.9/5 MY THOUGHTS~ I was provided with an ARC/Review Copy. Another winner from Ryan Michele in my book! I'm yet to read a book of hers that I don't love! I loved the previous book in this series so much that I jumped right into this one immediately. I'm so glad I did, too! So far, this author never disappoints! The writing is great! The characters are well developed and just all-around likeable. I love that these bikers talk the way you expect bikers to talk! Some MC books miss the mark a bit in that area, but not this author. Spot on as always! I can't wait for whatever comes next in this series! Can't.Wait! When I was had the chance to review for this book I jumped! I was overwhelmingly excited for the release of this book and it was all I expected and more!!! Ryan Michele has yet to disappoint me in anything she has written or co-written, although my hopes for the ending of this book did not go quite the way I was hoping would happen I still loved it. You met the characters in her first of the series but this book takes us to Stiff and the happenings with the Vipers Creed MC. Stiff has a home with the Vipers Creed MC and since his brother, Xander, has returned from the war he is hoping he finds his place alongside him. Stiff and his brothers find themselves involved in an unfortunate situation involving Stiff and Xander’s mother; that not only affects the MC but also ties with a known drug dealer. Chelsea is your everyday waitress trying to earn a living and build a life for herself and her family. She has had to work so hard to correct mistakes made by a drugged up dad who destroyed her credit and is now paying for his mistakes; in more ways than one. Chelsea’s sister is going to college to get a degree; thinking that she was safe from any pain her dad could inflict on her baby sister….Chelsea was wrong. I was a bit distracted by Chelsea’s sister (Jen) and Stiff’s brother (Xander) hoping that something might happen with them, even though Xander has a girl, I just couldn’t help myself! Weird hopes, I know! I could tell Stiff wasn’t going to be like I was thinking he would at the beginning of the book, and they both seem to have the past constantly haunting them. About halfway through Chelsea and Stiff had all my attention, then panic set in during certain chapters that had me finishing the book faster than I expected. This book had some death, violence, drug talk, and sex scenes that you should be aware of and consider before reading. I wouldn’t want to miss out on this read though!! Congrats Ryan Michele on another great read!

3.5 Stars Same as Trixie with all of her inner conflict regarding giving in to Spook, Chelsea was exactly the same. Pumping herself up for disappointment and encouraging herself not to give in but giving in every single time...sighs...that's such a horrible character trait. Ladies let's just keep it real...kay? Anyway there was alot going on in this book, not only Stiff and Chelsea's relationship, so it kept the reader engaged and not bored, though some parts were super repetitive and that got old really quick. (ie: Chelsea talking about her dad and how strong and independent she supposedly is...blah blah blah...we get it, shut the fu*k up already!) Loved that the Devils Due MC made an appearance...those guys are seriously badass! SR
