Rodeo cowboy Boone Telford feels like he's running out of time to make his mark. By his age, his father was an All-Around-Cowboy multiple times and his siblings are all highly accomplished in their fields. Boone vows that this is his year to stand out and finally be a champion as long as he remains focused, but a beautiful masseuse he met on a quick detour to the beach has given him a glimpse of a happy life that doesn't involve buckles or prize money. Is loving Piper and settling down on his family's Montana ranch giving up his dreams and destiny? When he pulls into his home town of Marietta, he knows it's now or never, and he probably needs to let Piper go.

Masseuse Piper Wiley is doing the one thing she swore she never would–following a man who's chasing his career from town to town. The daughter of an Army colonel, Piper's lived all over the world, but has always craved permanence and belonging. Meeting Boone was unexpected and powerful. Love at first sight. But can she convince her cowboy to finally come home and make his mark with her?

Cowboy Come Home is book number three in the 79th Copper Mountain Rodeo Series by Sinclair Jayne. This is Boone Telford and Piper Wiley’s story. I had a hard time with this book and had trouble connecting to the characters. Boone comes across as a guy that “wants his cake and to eat it” but even though Piper is a strong woman I felt she gave Boone to much of herself without any commitment on Boone’s part. This story ends well but was just an okay read for me. FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is yet another wonderful 79th Copper Mountain Rodeo Read! If you have read any of the other books in the 79th CMR series, as I have been reading them all you will recognize Piper and Boone Tedford from those books. If you are readers of Marietta books you might recognize Boone from other books as well. Yes, characters tend to cross over from author to author and books to book. And that is one of the reasons that I love Tule Publishing Group like i do. One big happy family. So let me tell you a wee bit about Cowboy Come Home. See Boone is from Marietta, Montana but he met Piper in Ca and they became quickly connected. He asked her to come with him on his rodeo trips and since she was already into yoga she got her masseuse license and set up shop. It was just suppose to be for the summer. Suppose to end before they reached Marietta so Boone never told her where he was from and now here they are on their own into town and Boone is sick to his stomach cause he needs to tell her before all his family shows up, in full force. Oh boy this is one really good read about lies of omission and also about also about we see ourselves is not necessarily how others see us. This one I enjoyed even though yes it was different than other books in this series but then again so are these 2 characters.

A summer fling that Piper wants to turn into more. Boone meets Piper on a beach in California, there is an instant chemistry between the two and he invites her to tag along on the rodeo circuit for the summer. Boone has kept a secret from Piper, his home town of Marietta. Boone has always wanted to achieve success on his own accord not with his family. Piper is use to being on the move growing up, but has now found Marietta to be the place she wants to call home. Is Boone willing to stay or will he loose Piper to live his dream? Boone and Piper had great chemistry, sexual chemistry was hot. I always love visiting Marietta and catching up with old friends. I recommend this as enjoyable read.

Cowboy Come Home by Sinclair Jayne, book three in The 79th Copper Mountain Rodeo series. A great book but not my favorite of the series so far. Enjoyed the character development and dialogue. Look forward to reading the next book in this series.

All Piper ever wanted was family, and too belong too someone. When she met Boone she thought he was everything she ever wanted, only problem is she needed to either convince him or show him how much he could be everything she wants and needs. The author could have gone two ways with the way she portrayed Piper, she could have portrayed her as a clueless, helpless, codependent damsel in distress, but instead she made Piper a fighter, fearless, independent women with a good head on her shoulders while making her soft kinder spirit with a big tender heart. The chemistry in this book jumped off the pages they did not lack in that at all. While the story was a fun read I wish it was less sex and more story, it seemed Piper and Boone's relationship was all sex and nothing else for most of the book and when they finally got to the heart of the matter it seemed rush. This book does have strong adult language and situations. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Not really a fan of this one. I think the basic story could have been a good one but my dislike of and frustration with the main characters kept me from enjoying it. I get that Boone feels inadequate compared to his overachieving but his poor treatment of Piper just angered me and I couldn't feel any compassion for him. Piper has her own insecurities to deal with but at some point you just have to let the past go and demand better from the future. Bottom line I thought this one had a little too much sex and not enough heart.

Cowboy Come Home by Sinclair Jayne The 79th Copper Mountain Rodeo Book 3 Boone Telford has been on the rodeo circuit for almost a decade when he meets Piper Wiley. The two decide to travel together for the summer as he goes from rodeo to rodeo. They agree it is no strings attached but with time the two become so very close that feelings are hard to avoid. Boone is sure he needs…well…he is not sure what he needs but it all has to do with “more” and that means there is not time now for a woman to become a permanent fixture in his life. As close as Boone and Piper are they reach a point where the end of the road seems to have been reached though neither is really sure they want it to be the end of the road. As Piper decides to move forward and guard her heart Boone is left in a type of limbo that takes some time to work through. This author creates characters I feel I know and end up caring about. There were times I wanted to sit Boone down and smack some sense into him but thankfully someone else stepped in for me so…whew! Piper on the other hand seemed a lot more together and mature with a plan in place and goals that were measurable…I really liked her and was happy for her when everything seemed to finally work out. Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars
