Cranberry Cure by Diane Zukas

Autumn Alexander would prefer standing knee-deep in a cranberry bed surrounded by thousands of crimson berries than be sitting in her comfy office chair. But until she can convince her father she's as capable as any marsh hand, it's not to be. When the opportunity finally does arrive and she is needed in the beds, she fails miserably, coming down with double-pneumonia. The berries really begin to bounce when black sheep Rick Brunner returns to Warrens to restore his family's cranberry bogs, and is hired by Autumn's father. Not only does he replace Autumn in the beds, but he's forced to assume the role as nursemaid. So now besides preparing for the renowned Warrens Cranberry Festival, she has to contend with this bastard, too.
