I was nervous when I read that this was a BDSM novel, but it really is a great book for anyone interested in BDSM but has no real knowledge of it. Even if you don't think BDSM is not for you, this book will change your mind. This book is so sweet, and non-threatening. But this book is also one of those wonderful romance novels that actually have a plot! Now, I don't mind a good plotless erotica book, but I love it when there is an actual story. It is almost a mix between an edgy mystery and hot romance. And the ending is filled with so many turns, I couldn't put it down. But on top of everything it really is a great book about learning to accept yourself, no matter what you like. Which is always a good thing to learn. But I would suggest you have some tissues near while you read this. Because not only will it melt your panties, but it will bring some tears to your eyes.

This book was HOT HOT HOT!!! WAY hotter than I expected. I will be honest and say that this is one of the HOTTEST books I've ever read, BUT, it kept me turning page after page to feel the suspenseful intensity of the story. Roni Loren created some awesome, believable characters and set the scenes to boiling with the romance and bedroom scenes! I loved the way Roni Loren took Brynn and Reid's stories and blended them perfectly. Brynn has sexual issues....not that she doesn't like sex, but she has issues with it, since her mother was raped. Reid stomped on Brynn's heart more than once, but has issues of his own to of them being, proving to Brynn that he never stopped loving her. When Brynn's sister goes missing, Brynn has to camp out at a BDSM ranch retreat and comes face to face with the horrible reality of her past: crashing face to face with Reid. Set in the backdrop of an erotic, intense sexual retreat, these two come together in search of Brynn's sister, exploring their fantasies, and learning to trust once again. But, something goes terribly wrong, and while searching for the truth, these two must fight for their lives, and each other's trust. I totally recommend this book to anyone who is looking for the perfect get away into an intensely suspenseful, passion-boiling novel. It's the first in a new series, and this 4 Book worthy story will not end here! I can't wait to see what's in store for Ms. Loren's new fans! But, be forewarned....the boiling scenes of this book will leave you fanning yourself for days after you're done. WOW. Great work, Ms. Loren! Started reading this morning, finished it late afternoon! Heart-pounding suspense mixed in with heart-stopping trysts. I loved the real emotions between Brynn and Reis, the history between them and how EVERYTHING played into the story. The author didn't just give little bits of meaningless information, ALL of it played in. Her dad, his dad, her family, her sister, the guy who raped her. Everything pulled together in a big puzzle that left me wondering how Brynn and Reis could possibly salvage a relationship from it. I could pick at the little details, like a couple of cliche phrases I noticed, and use of, "What the--?" (Strictly frowned upon if you've read Sawyer's FICTION WRITING DEMYSTIFIED.) That's why I stopped at 4 stars, but I'm not going to put a negative on what is a good story that kept my interest and convinced me that true love is true love no matter how complicated everything else is! I'm looking forward to what this author brings to the table next.

Really enjoyed this book - yes it was actually a book, not a novella!! If you like a suspensful plot and hot sex scenes, then this is the book for you! Still wish it was longer......

Amazing debut for Roni Loren. She paints a picture with her words and makes you feel like your right there with the characters. I picked this book up and didn't want to put it down. Now I want more. I had never read a book like this before. This was written in a way where you can feel the love between the characters. Reid is a dominant man in the bedroom but he's also charming, loving and sweet. As a younger man and because of some family history Reid is afraid of who he is. He doesn't want to be like his father. Not until he meets Brynn does he realize that what he likes sexually is not wrong between two people who are willing to try new things. Brynn and Jace are the only ones who accept Reid the way he is. His family think it's shameful that he likes to dominate a woman sexually and tie her up. But it takes a woman like Brynn who likes to turn control over to Reid to make him see that what he likes to do isn't wrong. It takes trust to turn control over to a man and Brynn trust Reid completely. She also falls head over heels in love with him after agreeing to have a summer fling with him. But Reid also falls for Brynn. It's sad that Brynn is judged by her mother. People are professional with her at work but they all think she's trash. They don't get to know who she is and how hard she works for her and her sister. All Brynn wants is to make someone of herself. She doesn't people to know about her home life so they don't judge her. Circumstances and people tear Reid and Brynn apart. There are misunderstandings, they break up, Brynn has to deal with being raped. Time passes, there's a murder, secrets and they meet up again. Reid and Brynn will work together again and there's a bit of hostility but through it all the attraction between these two characters is sizzling. I loved losing myself in this story and shutting the world out for a few hours everyday. I'm glad I read this book during spring break. I don't know how I would've made it through work without being able to pick this book up. Amazing book. Highly recommend this book.

4 1/2 stars. Full disclosure - I "met" Roni online, and have hosted her on my blog. So I was predisposed to like her work. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how deliciously hot I found this book. I felt nervous about the BDSM angle novel, but the connection between Reid and Brynn carried me through. Call me a prude, but spanking/whipping doesn't do it for me, even in its mildest forms. As a few of other reviewers have noted, there's a menage scene, which *I* thought was totally hot. In fact, my only quibble with this book is that Jace comes close to overshadowing Reid as interesting male lead. When they're on the page at the same time, I tend to "look" at Jace (and I don't even go for blonds!) Brynn is a wonderfully strong yet vulnerable heroine; she's a heroine not only in name, but in thought and action. To save her sister, she's willing to face some of her biggest personal demons. Reid is heroic from the time he arrives on the scene, but his past few years have not been impressive, though they *are* logical. The parallel storylines, *now* and *then*, worked for me, letting me see them fall in love, twice. The danger and suspense at the end was something that I felt I saw a-comin' a long way off, but there were twists and turns in it that were a total surprise. All in all, a fabulous debut, and I am waiting impatiently for Jace's story to be told in July.

My Review: I really liked this book. I picked it up on a whim from a Twitter post and was pleasantly surprised at how much I did really enjoy it. There's a lot going on in this book, and honestly, I can't really share much of it without spoiling part of the story for you as you read it. Brynn & Reid were involved 10 years ago and suddenly they find themselves once again working together. The story slowly unfolds, chapter by chapter. One chapter is written in the "Now", then the next chapter will be written in the "Then". As a result, there are two stories being told and you just hope that one of them ends up happily. I really liked that and how it all slowly comes out at to the why this couple's romance devolved, at the same time that they are relearning each other. The entire story is set in the erotic world of BDSM and it is seriously sexy. Brynn is the one that broke it off ten years ago and there are things that Reid doesn't know that led to that break-up. LOTS of emotion here. I really, really liked it. I am at a loss as to what else to say, because I don't want to give away any of the story. There are several twists which culminates in a very suspenseful ending. Just a really great book. If you like erotica, especially that which circles around BDSM, I highly recommend this one. I definitely have Melt Into You, Jace's book, on my to-buy list when it comes out on July 3rd.

This was a great read. Hot and steamy without being so focused on the erotic elements that it neglected the plot. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth and intricacy of the conflict that is so often missing in erotic romance, where hook-ups are often the whole point of the anemic storyline. Nice bit of mystery and suspense here to make the relationship that much more important and satisfying. Well done and worth the read.

This. Was. Awesome. From the very second I picked it up I pretty much couldn't put it down. There are so many things I loved from the characters to the intrigue to the writing. It was just a fantastic story and excellent introduction to the series. I loved the style of writing and how this story was set up. I loved that it went back and forth from present day to past. It had such an excellent build as I waited for those two to intersect. Brynn and Reid are fascinating characters. They have such a history and I was just so excited to learn everything. I loved seeing them in both past and present and watching them grow and develop. I loved how the author pulled me in with the alternating chapters, I was hanging on ever word. I loved all the details, the depth and layers. There was an excellent element of intrigue mixed in too and an awesome amount of steamy hotness, passion, and a bit kinky sex. I loved it all. Brynn and Reid were so fantastic together. I loved them reconnecting and the sexual tension and animosity between the two. It was awesome! I loved watching their different past and present struggles and really figuring out who they are and what they wanted. There's a nice amount of drama mixed in with the intrigue and the ending had me holding my breath. I love being consumed by a story. CONSUMED! Loved all the characters that were introduced and the set up of The Ranch. Jace and Grant were my favorites. This is the first book in a series with a lot of others released already so I am excited for more and glad I don’t have to wait. The writing was so excellent. Roni Loren is a heck of a story teller. The way this was structured though, I really did love it. It kept my attention the entire time, making me turn the page like a mad woman. I loved different POVs in play as well. Reid, Brynn, and Jace. I need more Jace for sure. Just a fantastic story! So, excellent read. Passionate, sexy, and with intriguing characters. Awesome storyline. Great intrigue, drama, and emotion… and super hot sex. 5 sizzling stars for Crash into You!

Brynn LeBreck has dedicated herself to helping women in crisis, she never imagined how personal it would get or where it would take her. Her younger sister is missing. The cops won't help because they are looking for her for different reasons. The criminals are also looking for her. She has followed a lead to a secretive BDSM resort, a place where the elite go to play out there most extreme sexual fantasies. The Ranch is invite only and the only Master she knows to get her there is someone she refuses to submit to. Reid Jamison has betrayed her one too many times and she refuses to let it happen again. Reid will help but only under one condition. She will submit to only him! There is so much history between Brynn and Reid almost too much history. This story is about murder, mystery, and extremely hot sex. Its a second chance book with a whole lot of drama. There are flashbacks that tell you the history of Brynn and Reid that I love. I cannot wait to read more of her stories.

I have FINALLY gotten a hold of a copy of Crash Into You, the first book in the Loving on the Edge series. I started this series completely out of order and that’s pretty much how I continued to read them. Then my copy of Crash Into You came in and I reread the entire series from the beginning. Roni Loren is absolutely one of my favorite authors of all time. I love her writing and how every story and character are unique. Brynn and Reid has a past that ended in tragedy. Brynn first fell for Reid when they were working together. Reid asked her out and after telling him no over and over she finally says yes. Dating leads to Reid discovering him Dominant side, a side he’s ashamed of until Brynn who wants nothing more than to submit to him. Their relationship seems perfect even though neither of their lives are. Brynn is taking care of her mother and sister and Reid’s family is holding his fathers past over him. When their relationship doesn’t seem to be getting any better tragedy strikes and their relationship ends. Now ten years later Reid and Brynn are thrown together again to find Kelsey, Brynn’s sister. Things become super complicated real fast because they both have feelings for each other and the last time Brynn submitted to a man was Reid. Ah this book was so fabulous. Reid and Brynn’s characters were just great. While I’ve never lived through this kind of situation, Roni Loren makes it so the characters feel relatable anyway. How? I have no idea she’s just that magical. Brynn has had a hard life and I loved her. I love how strong and independent she is. Reid is swoon worthy and I think he’s the perfect match for Brynn. The two of them butt heads a lot, which ramps up the sexual tension. Reid is also a strong character and I like how both characters grow to become stronger and more likeable characters. Crash Into You is an erotica/ BDSM story and sometimes these types of books revolve around sexy times and only sexy times. I’m super happy that Roni Loren has never done this and even in the first story this didn’t happen. There is an actual story behind Crash Into You and I like that. The story doesn’t get pushed to the way side even in the midst of the sexy times and the romance. I am a Roni Loren super fan. I love her books and Crash Into You is no exception. This book is absolutely phenomenal.
