About the Author

Having to overcome spinal meningitis with the possibility of having to drag his left leg along with permanent brain damage at an early age, Joseph Jones' love of religion and science began. Overcoming this early struggle in life, he faced some of the challenges of growing up in Harlem and then returning to the South where he was born. Along life's way he served America as a professional cartographer photogrammetric in St. Louis and and from there to Aiken, SC where he was often called the Jackie Robinson of the Nuclear Industry at Savannah River Plant. His love of poetic prose blended with his personal experiences has evolved to be characteristic of a poet philosopher.
