I was somewhat taken back seeing the front cover and the title of the book. We cannot judge a book by its cover. The more I read the book Cuquita, the more interesting it became. Although she is small in size and looked weak this girl proved the perception of general public can be wrong. It is amazing to know how she keeps her head cool and level headed among mean spirited humans and wins the hearts and minds of a small town inhabitants. She is proof that little people can do bigger things. Her loyalty sincererity and compassion is remarkable. Almost every girl in this country sometimes face threats of violence and intimidation. Cuquita never backed off when being attacked by powerful enemies. She is a character all girls can adore. Even though she is not a human, Cuquita teaches some moral lessons too. I have no doubt that those who read this book will recommend it to others. Overall Cuquita is very entertaining and one of the best books published in 2012. Celmira

When I got this book I thought it may be something about cooking but it turned out to be a very interesting story. A story about an alien visitor. It is a wonderful story for all people especially for young adults. This book shows some respect to women in this male dominated world. I recommend this book to all women, especially those who been treated poorly or feel like inferior to their male counterparts. Thanks to the author for showing some respect to the women. Great book for people of all ages.

I recommend Cuquita to every one to read and learn many good lessons in life and the consequences of making bad choices in life. This book is best suited for young adults. Sincerely V. Segura.
