Developing Healthy Desires & Behaviors (DHDB) is a faith base ministry where we offer personalized attention and assistance for those in need of prayer, fasting, and biblical base sound wisdom and counsel. Our number one goal is to help people push pass pain. We understand that healing takes time therefore, we provide biblical principles to teach people how to come out of denial, uncover negative beliefs and behaviors that are contrary to the Word of God, and are currently manifesting through negative self-talk and unhealthy behavior.
As CEO and founder of Developing Healthy Desires and Behaviors Ministry (DHDB), my desire is to identify and expose the lies, tricks and deception of the enemy, in particular to men and women who have suffered from psychological and sexual abuse. Furthermore, as a minister of the gospel, I have been mandated by the Holy Ghost to “preach the gospel, heal the brokenhearted, and set the captive free” (Luke 4:18). I currently hold degrees in Applied Behavioral Science and Biblical Studies, as well as a Master in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Psychology.
DHDB was birthed out of my own pain and sorrows. More than anything I wanted to be free from the pain of my past, yet until I learned how to overcome past rejection, abuse, and forgiveness I continually spiraled out of control. With the help of the LORD and the ministries He provided through the body of Christ (Pastors Teachers, Mentors, and Christians Counselors), I eventually learned how to align my thinking with the Word of God. As a result, I discovered I didn’t have to hold on to the pain but could actually enjoy the freedom Christ died to give.
