Overview

Dalton's Undoing by RaeAnne Thayne

He was known as a major player who'd left a swath of broken hearts across the Teton Valley. Yet when single mother Jenny Boyer saw the tenderness in Seth Dalton's eyes when he looked at her children — not to mention her — it was impossible for her to believe it was all a game.

She was new to this small town, a school principal who needed to be respected. The last man she should be getting involved with was the Hunk of Cold Creek! But every time Seth came near, Jenny could feel herself falling...like all of the women who'd come before her. So why did she hope that her story would have a different ending — as in, happily ever after?

This is a continuation of a series about three brothers. I read the first, could not find the second, and think this is the third one. It is very good, but is almost exactly like the first with a change of names and careers. I do not think the 14 year old boy, who had had several run ins with the law, before stealing and wrecking a car, should have gone unpunished. The hero of the story, made him muck out horse stalls for a few weeks. Big deal,14 is old enough to know, crime has punishments. But of course, in a romance novel, it is all perfect, in the end. It was nice to see how the characters evolved from the first book. Chick lit. An iota of sex. About 230 pages. For ages 16 and up. Well edited. AD

RaeAnne writes stories that provide situations that show love, romance, sex ,and emotions in real life situations. The relationship between Jen and Seth was interesting. It showed Seth in an unusual way, as the person displaying the rejected and hurting personality. A great story with an interesting happy ever after ending. LA-TXN

Great book. Our hero, the youngest Dalton brother was a very likeable character. Our heroine had issues, easy to understand, but, it was fun seeing her come to terms and embrace love.

Persistence always wins! Good read. Age is just a number, sometimes you just need to follow you're heart.
