Dangerous Attraction by Sidney Bristol

Ex-Navy SEAL Travis Ration is an expert hunter. Whether his prey is criminal or victim, he always gets his mark. He's no hero, just a man doing his job. It's all he has after a felony conviction after a bad judgement call. When the FBI call in a favor and ask him to look into a serial killer over the holiday break, he jumps at the opportunity to fill the long, cold days with something besides regret and bad movies. In Las Vegas, he's on the hunt for a prolific serial killer no one wants to admit exists. The leads are dry and the evidence gone, until she walks into his life. Bliss Giles-curvy, sassy and everything he can't have.

What's worse, Travis knows Bliss' sister is the killer's latest victim. She fits the profile. Time is running out and the fastest way to retrace the killer's path is with Bliss at Travis' side. In the seat of danger. He vows to keep Bliss safe and his hands to himself, after all, a nice girl like her doesn't need a guy like him in her life. Too bad no one told Bliss Travis was off-limits. She tests his boundaries and pushes his control every minute they're together until he can't remember why wanting her is a bad idea.

The hunters become the hunted in this tale of serial killers and SEALs for hire. One broken man must unpack his baggage, a woman has make a leap of faith and a sister chooses to live in this new, romantic suspense serial by NYT & USA Today bestselling author, Sidney Bristol.

Loved the book, great read

The bad guy was gruesome and some of the scenes were disturbing. Otherwise it was a pretty good story. Very annoying that there wasn't any kind of break between scenes. A tender moment could be followed by the bad guy speaking to himself and you'd think he was in the house with them, but it was a scene change without a break.

Love the story but not for the faint of heart. This is a classic Navy Seal mystery romance where the sex and violence go hand in hand. Likeable characters and well written but it definitely needs 3 dot spacers or extra lines added to distinguish the twists as the plot progresses to the next person in the story. Much better this way than previous 3 "book" approach.

I enjoyed the story and sex but thought feds and cops were dumb. Bliss made some stupid decisions.

This was a thrilling story with a very hot romance. Ex-Navy SEAL, Travis Ration, works for the Aegis Group security firm while doing a side job for the FBI. A serial killer has been abducting young blonde women for years but the connection to them has just been realized. When Bliss reports her sister, Wendy, missing, Travis knows she is the killer's latest victim. This story is more of a thriller than suspense with a psychotic serial killer on the lose. The incredible chemistry between Travis and Bliss was well written, especially with their personalities being so different. Poor Travis didn't think much of himself because he was a convicted felon and thought no woman should be saddled with him. Bliss was a very strong, capable woman who had looked after Wendy her entire life. Even after Wendy was married. Bliss just looked after everything all the time. This action packed story is very sexy. I enjoyed the suspense in this book but there were too many long sex scenes that filled up too much of the book - bordering on an erotic read. My rating is 3.5 stars.

Enjoyed the story, and glad it was all one book - I HATE cliffhangers!!! Formatting was awful...everything ran together; no chapters or breaks....very distracting and hard to read.

Depressing with no redeeming balance.

Story line was good, character development was good. Format was awful, and I wish I knew how it ended, the last 15-20 pages were gone.

Fast paced, stand alone intro to the series! Liked the chemistry with Travis and Bliss. Appreciated Wendy's character development. The crazied, evil criminal madman insight was cunning! Where do I begin? Travis, our hero in the book, is a convicted felon. Convicted felons can't carry guns. They can't even have a gun in their home and he is in security. Which requires him to have a gun? This whole book was filled with unrealistic events. Such as, the serial killer in this book just happens to obtain a key to the rental car Travis was driving. Really!? It was never explained how he got it or when. The list goes on and on. Also, Travis and his friends are navy seals and they let this one seal killer, Daniel, kidnap Wendy and Bliss 3 times? It seems this author did next to zero research for this book about what is realistic. I felt like my intelligence was insulted. I will never read another book from this author. And another thing this book was very, very disturbing. I can't understand why an author would spend so mush time on the details of how crazy Daniel was and what he did to his victims, but not on the actual facts of how laws inforcment works. I am also confused at how Daniel happened to have all these cameras everywhere that wendy, bliss, or Travis was. Please don't waste your money
