Overview

Dawn in Eclipse Bay by Jayne Ann Krentz

From New York Times bestselling author Jayne Ann Krentz—the second novel in a dramatic trilogy set in breathtaking Eclipse Bay, a town filled with rivalries as fierce and compelling as the rugged Oregon coast….

Nothing was ever simple between a Madison and a Harte. The feud that had divided their families still simmered. Now, only months after their siblings’ wedding, Lilian Harte and Gabe Madison are at each other’s throats.

Successful CEO Gabe had insisted on becoming a client of Lilian’s matchmaking service. And after five disastrous dates, Lilian is at her wit’s end. If she hadn’t already decided to close her business and move home to Eclipse Bay, Gabe would have been the final straw. But when she finds Gabe at her door demanding she fulfill their business contract, the sparks between them suddenly turn personal. Once again, Eclipse Bay will witness a showdown—between a relentless Madison and an irresistible Harte…

Even better than the first trilogy, this books really shows what JAK is best at doing. Very witty, full of laughter and on going challenges between the characters. I hope the next book will be as awesome as this one! Lillian and Gabe are characters that are well defined !

This is an awesome series & id just go ahead & buy em all bc you will want em after you read the first one "Eclispe Bay" , then Dawn of EB & last Summer EB. Its a great series with very interesting people, funny, sexy, edgy&intrigue. I hated when they ended. Plus if you've read any of the Arcane society books, you'll remember some of the residents. I hope very hard that they'll be more series like these stories! I'm sooo hooked. rhonni h

Warm, witty and wonderful! Ms. Krentz has done it again by providing readers with a sizzling tale that sparkles with humor and sensuality. Lillian and Gabe are wonderful together and I am looking forward to reading more about Eclipse Bay and the Harte and Madison families. Kudos to Ms. Krentz for another great read!!!

I read the first one just by accident, I was browsing at the library one day and decided to give it a try. I absolutely loved it and could not wait until the next one. I just finished Dawn in Eclipse Bay and am anxious for the third one to be released. I work in a library and have had the opportunity to read a few of the new releases, and this is a very good series.

Lately it's getting harder and harder to find good, engaging romances, even from veterans like Krentz. This story seemed very forced. Her characters are always a bit wacky, but the New Age folks and the conspiracy nuts are just getting a little old and tired. Dialogue was not up to par either, and the actual romance was boring. I like some of her others, but this one left me flat.
