Here are the first three Lord and Lady Hetheridge Books, together in one collection. In ICE BLUE, meet Lord Anthony Hetheridge, chief superintendent for New Scotland Yard. And their first murder case together reveals not only a powerful attraction, but a secret from Hetheridge's own past.

In book 2, BLUE MURDER, Hetheridge and his detectives, DS Kate Wakefield and DS Deepal "Paul" Bhar, seek the culprit of a deadly Halloween bash while Hetheridge, ever more enamored of Kate, is determined to put an heirloom engagement ring on her finger.

In book three, SOMETHING BLUE, East Ender Kate is finally ready to marry her blue-blooded guv and become Lady Hetheridge at long last. But with Downing Street pressuring them to solve a case in the shortest time frame ever, and serial killer Sir Duncan Godington back in the mix, can the wedding actually go off without a hitch?

I'm very impressed.  Most .99 books are pretty amateurish.  I expected the same & got a sample before buying even though it is so inexpensive.  These are excellent.  I bought the trio before I finished the sample I was so hooked.  I couldn't put the it down, read all 3 straight through. There is humor, which I appreciate, but Kate's home situation is realistic, as is her personality & flaws.  I also enjoyed the relationship between the characters.  I really hope there is more to come.  Well done!  Please keep them coming!

I bought the 3 book set and wasn't disappointed. Love the interaction between the main characters. It appears "Something Blue," number 3 in the series, leaves the way open for future volumes. I hope there's more about Paul.

An exceptional series of mysteries coupled with a real romance, Emma Jameson must be thoroughly congratulated. It took three books to get the marriage finally consummated, but from a reader’s view, it was certainly worth the wait. I know I am hooked and will be eagerly awaiting future volumes in the saga. Thank you Ms. Jameson from an adoring fan!!

This author apparently thinks she is the reincarnation of Dorothy Sayers. She isn't by a long shot. Boring characters, bad plot, dull writing in general.

Enjoyed all three and am ready for the fourth. Excellent plots, likeable characters (except VIc) great settings, what more can you ask for. Hope there will be many more.

I really liked these books. The way I gauge how much I like a book is whether or not I like the characters. If the characters are well written and believable, then I like the rest of the components of the story. I guess it is just my own way of evaluating things, but if the people and the dialogue are flat, all the fizz oozes out of the book, even if the story-line is okay! The author, Emma Jameson has written great characters, with strengths and weakness that seem realistic and fun dialogue, plus I always enjoy a mystery. I do like to try to figure out "who dun it" mysteries and love twists and turns that keep me guessing. Emma Jameson, you are great writer!! Thanks and more please!

Enjoyed the trio although was a little put-off by Kate's character.   Good storyline and detail about London and the Met.

I was also very surprised at how much I enjoyed the 99 cent box set; I"m halfway through the third book and was happy to read on Goodreads that there is a fourth one out and fifth being written. I actually came here to see if the fourth one was available for Nook.  I thought the second book was resolved a bit too neatly, but overall, I'm thoroughly enjoying the characters, the wordplay, the story.  They're fun books.

Very enjoyable box set.  The romance is slow-moving, but well-worth the wait.  It reminds me a good bit of the Lord Peter Wimsey style with a contemporary flair.  There is a fine "Moriarity" villain occurring throughout the 3 novels and as another reviewer has said, a realistic look at Kate's home life.

Enjoyed these a lot. Looking forward to the next one.
