Different and a bit odd. The beginning really grabbed my interest but mid-way through, it got repetitive and boring. Multiple names for multiple characters added to the confusion. I normally love this type of genre but this one wasn't one of my favorites. Multiple editing errors.

Great Book! This book is approx. 240ish pgs. She does need to have it edited again as there are sooo many spelling errors. Over all a good story about a cop who becomes a cop in the "afterlife". It was cute, funny and of course a mystery with a touch of romance. The book had good characters and a cool storyline. I really liked this book and many of her other books! Take a chance for .99 you can't go wrong!

How do you feel about life after death? Where would you go and what would it be like? There are some very strange happens in this story and I truly enjoyed. I like Bevill because of the range of the writing, I started with the Bubba books and recommend them to my granddaughter.

Love love C.L. Bevill she is a talent storyteller. I I love all her paranormal books. This book had an edgy kick butt female lead and lead she does! The cast of characters in this story could make for several more books. Please? ;) 250+ pages BrynnS

Thank you C.L. Bevill for another good story. You have so many different main characters, how do you keep it straight and now you've introduced us to another new one Octavia Stone, her doggie Pudd and her beau Nik. This story is sort of a tongue in cheek along the lines of Clue, so many twists and turns and just plain weird stuff. I enjoyed it immensely as I have all of your other books. Thank you C.L.

It never ceases to amaze me the different genres this author can write in and still create a great story every time! I have read everything she has come out with and I have yet to be disappointed with any. Humor, mystery,paranormal... she writes it all and writes it well! While this wasn't a favorite (I am quite partial to her Bubba series), it was still a delight! This time, Ms. Bevill has introduced us to Octavia, a newly dead police officer who has entered into a "pergatory"of sorts. A mystery develops when "deadies" start REALLY dying! Octavia gets busy doing what she does best, solving crimes. This was a great story that moved quick, had lots of humor, excitement, and even a little romance (definitely not over the top). I would love to see more of Tavie and Nick. Maybe Ms. Beville has some more in store for these two in that wonderful mind of hers. Thanx so very much Ms. Bevill for taking me on another great ride! -- SPeeD

Didn't really think I would get into Deadsville but decided to check it out simply because I loved so many of C.L. Bevill's other books.  I was wrong. I Loved This Book.  I didn't want it to end. Hope this becomes another series. I want more Deadsville.

This isn't like her other books, although there is a reference to the Bubba series, which I thought was rather delightful.

Nope, that not a spoiler in the headline. But, C.L. Beville does a great job of putting the reader into this strange, untamed land of the dead. A female detective unexpectedly finds herself in Deadsville, and is almost immediately thrust into the intrigue of the rulers of the dead when a person who is already dead, becomes truly dead. The author takes you on a breathtaking, edge of your seat ride, then wraps everything up in a nice little package in the end. Another great story from one of my favorite authors!

Another great book from Ms. Bevill. It's a really fast read with a unique take on the afterlife. Comedic mystery with plenty of twists and turns to keep you laughing while you try to keep up. Loved the proverbs and quotes that opened each chapter. But really...snakes? Did it HAVE to be snakes? Lol. Needs just a little fine tuning editing. I can't wait for the next book. Well, any book by C.L. Bevill, actually. 250+ pages.
