About the Author

I was born in the little, but big bustling city of Chicago, Illinois. I still live there today, and loving every second of it ... Except for those harsh cold winters. I started writing short horror stories when I was eleven years old. It wasn't until 2004 that I decided to take the plunge into the professional literary world when I wrote Desires Unleashed. I love the supernatural world, I've always found it fascinating, especially vampires and shape-shifters. It was my love of the genre that motivated me to create the story I had always wanted to read. I published it, hoping there were other people out there who would be entertained by that same story. I love to entertain people, to offer them that fantasy world they can escape into filled with wonders and good times. I know I appreciate the escapism I've delved into when reading a good book. More about me, I'm a couch potato by nature, and I love watching great movies and television shows. I also love listening to music of all genres. Some of my other hobbies include rollerblading, biking, composing classical music, writing poetry, cooking, playing video games. Some of the accolades I've won for my writing are: "Readers' Favorite in Best Horror Fiction" for Good Intentions in 2014. "New Voice of Today" by A Romance Review, "Rising Star" by Love Romance and "Author of the Month" by Warrior of Words. I've been nominated two years in a row in several categories, including "best vampire novel" and "best urban-fantasy" at Love Romance and More. My third novel; The Royal Flush did win honorable mention in 2006. In 2012 my novel "Unholy Alliance" was nominated for "Best Book of 2012" and "Best Paranormal Book of 2012" by Love Romance and More. To find out even more about me, please click on the links below.

I understand that the author is new, or atleast I think so... the story line is okay but I found myself skimming through parts I didn't care about and waiting for the book to be over( I can't start a book without finishing it.) This book has potential with the proper editors to polish it.

As an avid reader of such writers as Anne Rice, Anne Bishop, and Laurell Hamilton, I recently decided to broaden my horizons by acquiring novels by other authors of similar genre. I am horrified that I actually paid money for this book. I am truly baffled by the high star rating. This book would best be utilized by a Freshman English class to teach a lesson on 'How Not to Write a Novel.' It showcases everything from grammatical errors to spelling errors, issues of tense, thesaurus abuse and basic punctuation problems. The plot is marginal and the characters are one dimensional as well as painfully shallow. For the love of all that you hold dear, spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I wish that I had.

If you can get past all the grammatical errors and punctuation errors and actually just read the book it's really good it just needs to be edited properly but other than that the storyline is amazing the characters are fantastic and it's overall a really good book it just wasn't well written

This book is terrible. The characters are barely fleshed out and are very predictable. Everyone is hot, sexy, and selfish. Its not believable at all. Dont waste your time

This is the sloppiest writing I've ever encountered. Within the first few pages, I've encountered dozens of errors in spelling, grammer and punctuation that are so glaring it's hard to concentrate on the story. The characters are flat and the dialogue is stilted. An altogether poor effort.

Kept me interested. Funny at times. Different from others in this genre. Really enjoyed it.

This book was too slow moving for me. It was like reading 4 separate stories at once, vearing off in one direction and then another. One story line involving a master vampire and his lover. One involving a shifter police officer and his partner. One involving an unemployed human and her roommate. Another involving a leopard shifter pack. Nearly toward the end the vampire, police and human parts of the story came together but I still don't know what the purpose of the leopard shifters tory had to do with anything. Too many characters and stories to form a cohesive story.

Loved it

This book has way too many plot threads and zero editing. Every character is shallow and can barely go a minute without thinking of, wanting, or having badly written sex. I feel like this was written by a high school student, one that should have received a failing mark on a very poorly written paper. I have no idea how this received a high raiting unless it's from the author's friends who didn't actually read this piece of trash but are trying to be helpful to.the author. ***Seriously, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS POORLY WRITTEN, CONVOLUTED, NON-EDITED DRIVEL! Even if it's free don't bother.***

Really good. I appreciate the time the author invested in creating supernatural characters who are convincingly genuine and true to their particular nature. Vampires, werewolves and humans interact to achieve a common goal in solving a crime. Steamy, lusty scenes unfold throughout the story; both heterosexual & homosexual. The suspense keeps you reading.
