The pressure’s really piling up on Greg Heffley. The only thing he’s good at is playing video games, but his mother wants him to broaden his horizons by doing something—anything!—else.

When Greg finds an old video camera in his basement, he thinks he may have discovered just the thing to prove he’s got big-time talent. With the help of his best friend, Rowley, Greg hatches a plan to make a scary movie . . . and to become rich and famous in the process.

But is doubling down on moviemaking a smart plan? Or is it just a recipe for doubling Greg’s troubles?

I would highly recommend the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Double Down to everyone. It is a great book full of the adventures of a middle school kid named Greg Heffley. Jeff Kinney was very successful in creating all characters of the “Wimpy Kid” series.I think the most significant part of the book is when Greg gets the thought of making a movie.I think this because it’s what the book is about.I think the book is perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.Jeff Kinney was able to hold reader’s interest throughout the book.

I chose this book because the series I have read was good so far so I read the next one. I thought it was going to be something about having too much of some things. I feel like I could read more of the cool books. It wasn’t really a book I expected it to be, it was ok. My opinion has not changed. 2) The book is based on a storyline of a kid named Greg Heffley who usually has bad things happen when he wants good things to happen. The setting of this book is usually his school, friends house, or his house. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a Children’s literature, Graphic Novel. The author of this book is Jeff Kinney. I liked this book because it is funny and good for children. It is a book that you could probably read the whole series of. I would recommend this book to people ages 5-14. It is a very cool and interesting book that will get you to read the whole series!

I chose this book because I have read all of the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid books and all of them I have read I thought that they were very interesting and have a really good turning point and so I’m reading it and so far I am very impressed. 2. The main characters in the story are Greg Heffley, Susan Heffley(Greg’s Mom), Greg’s dad, and Rowley(Greg’s friend). And the story is about a middle schooler, Greg Heffley, and his problem is that he has all of these things getting thrown at him and is in his way but all he wants is to make it through middle school but he doesn’t really show that he wants to though. And the story takes place by him thinking that maybe his life is being documented and his family are just actors trying to act like they are his real family. And whenever something good happens it just gets worse and worse. 3. One reason why I liked this book is because It had a lot of turning points to it, like when Greg got his really expensive instrument but he had to promise his dad that he would practice every night so he had music that sounded like his instrument off of the internet. And also another reason why I liked this book is because there was a lot of life lessons to the story to kinda teach you what to do and what not to do. 4. So I suggest to you that you should read this book because I really liked this book and if you're just wanting to start this series then I suggest you do it, and I think that people with imagination and random stuff happen to you I think you should read it. I give this book a five star rating! The Mystery Of Greg Heffley. Awesome, tense, and great book to read.
