Welcome to Shadow Valley where the Dirty Angels MC rules. Get ready to get Down & Dirty because this is Hawk's story...When strong statements must be made, Hawk, as the MC's VP, must be the one to make them. But that doesn't mean there aren't consequences, like him landing in jail. Though the club keeps an attorney on retainer, the one who shows up isn't quite who he's expecting. Not even close.Feisty, classy, and curvy, this attorney pushes his buttons in all the right ways. And Hawk can't ignore a challenge. However, she's so out of his league, he can't hope for anything more than a few chances to scratch all her itches. When Kiki's boss hands over the club's account, she doesn't know what to expect and her meeting with the overbearing, bad boy biker goes anything but smoothly. Like Hawk, Kiki loves a challenge, too. But getting involved in the club and its VP may not be what she bargained for. Especially when it comes to several run-ins with a rival MC, including one which may very well affect the rest of her life.Kiki needs to decide if becoming involved with Hawk is worth not only the judgment from her peers but, even worse, the violent mayhem the club becomes entangled in.Trigger warning: This story includes a violent situation that includes kidnapping, physical and sexual assault. Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, biker slang, cursing, some violence and, of course, an HEA. If you like alpha males who like to take charge, this book is for you!

5 star review of Down & Dirty: Hawk Dirty Angels  MC #3 by Jeanne St James The narration was great and the narrators were able to convey all the emotions I was feeling as I listened to this book. This was am emotional roller coaster of a story. Raw, gritty and oh so dark; not for the faint of heart. Hawk drew me in and I was totally riveted. Hawk is a powerful story of love, learning to trust and about believing in someone. This was my first book from Jeanne St James and it won’t be my last. I will be going and getting the other books on the series as soon as I can.

I found this to be an interesting read. The story line is full of excitement, suspense, joy and sorrow. The characters are strong, determined individuals that find the road to happiness is not an easy journey. Loved this book and will definitely read more by this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.

I have read all of the Down & Dirty series so far and this is another phenomenal addition!! I will caution those with triggers pertaining to kidnapping and sexual assault as there is a chapter contained within. Hawk is the Vice President of the MC and is sitting in prison awaiting to be released. Kiki is the spitfire attorney who has inherited the MC from a colleague and is sent to speak with Hawk. You can feel the attraction in the air as soon as Hawk sets eyes on Kiki but she is refined class and he is the polar opposite. However, opposites do attract but with a rival MC around making trouble can Hawk and Kiki make a relationship work? This is one extremely well written storyline and can be read in one sitting as the words just suck you in so you do not want to stop. Ms. St. James has a way of crafting her stories highlighting the personalities of her characters so they come across as authentic and real. I highly recommend this book and it can be read as a standalone. I volunteered to read an advance copy.
