They’d barely finished saying, I do, when… Congratulations, it’s a boy…with claws, a tail, and a hearty appetite. What does he eat? And what’s in his diaper? Does he have tantrums and cry like a baby when he wants or needs something? And what’s that sound like? What happened to all the adult dragons? Why are the eggs hatching now? This wonderfully cute novella kept me in smiles as I watched Rose and Henry trying to take care of the baby dragon, Virgil, who adopted them as his parents. What does the future hold in store for them? This series does not stand alone, but I will tell you that I look forward to each and every novella and eagerly anticipate reading this fun story in its entirety. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Dragon’s Hope by Emily Martha Sorensen.

What a cute plot! I love how realistic Virgil seems! He's a regular child, with dragon size problems. Sweet read!

This is a very cute tale about a dragon hatch-ling in the modern world and two people who adopt him as their son (after they get married quickly). It is a quick read and it will take you away from reality for a short time. It seems to be written for a young audience, but everyone will enjoy this story.

I received a free review copy of this book. As I haven’t read the first book, I was a bit lost at the begging. I didn’t understand why Rose and Henry got married when they looked like they were not in love. Anyway, I like the idea of a dragon being able to communicate by telepathy. It is funny how the adults try to think what to feed him with. I couldn’t stop laughing with the vision of Henry feeding him with his mouth. LOL. My ears still hurt because of Virgil’s high pitched screams. I would like to see what happened next and what is going to be of Violet in the zoo.

This second installment Has Rose and Henry getting married and meeting Virgil. The stresses of school and a new baby give them little time to explore each other. I love that the author gives us a realistic picture of young parenting. I look forward to seeing where she takes it from here.
