Drew Nance 3: The MassiveMart Murder Mystery
In the 3rd adventure with amateur sleuths Drew Nance and Carl Keene, they are blissfully--for Drew at least--shopping for ice cream in a giant membership store when Carl finds a frozen, dead body. They become involved in the mystery mostly because the local police seem to be pretty ineffective and do a lot of wrong things like moving the body before getting any evidence or taking photos.

When the intrepid two start to dig and get close to something, they are attacked, knocked out and locked in the save icy freezer as the first victim.

This lighthearted mystery is a direct satire on a young detective with a similar name and is not to be considered as being in the league as a Poirot or Dupin, and certainly not a bungling detective such as Clouseau, but is a fun read none-the-less.

About the Author

Thomas Hudson and his alter egos tend to write in two genres: Tom Swift fiction including novels, collections of short stories and even stories about his very talented mother and father; and he writes shorter fiction in a light vein for his own amusement.

He grows tomatoes, showers with his 15-year-old dog, Jake when one or both are particularly dirty, and has been married more than a third of a century!
