'Earthing' introduces readers to the landmark discovery that living in contact with the Earth's natural surface charge - being grounded - naturally discharges and prevents chronic inflammation in the body. This effect has massive health implications because of the well-established link between chronic inflammation and all chronic diseases, including the diseases of aging and the aging process itself.

This book provides a lot of detail and supporting information for grounding or earthing. That is making contact between one’s body and free electrons in the earth. Walking barefoot on the grass is one way to do it, but so is sleeping in electrical contact with a wire connected to a ground rod or to the third (grounding) hole in a conventional electrical outlet. When people do that over time they notice significant changes to the better for problems from poor sleep to pain and inflammation of many types. The book contains chapters contributed by a cardiologist, a physicist, a physician and several others. Before you dismiss it as quackery give it a try for a week. It will cost you nothing and no one needs to know you are doing it. You can even make up your own simple connection to a grounded source from simple materials, or you can purchase commercially made cables, bedsheets, and mats.
