Jean Oram grew up in a small town in Alberta, Canada and her experiences have inspired her Blueberry Springs series. But while Jean grew up in an old schoolhouse tending to the family's honeybee operation, her characters haven't! Well, not yet, anyway.

Jean loves to ski (downhill and cross-country), hike, camp, read, write, watch romantic comedies, and say random things like "Buckle your seatbelts, kids, Mama's driving!" in order to make her kids crack up.

She lives in Canada with her husband, two kids, and very large dog.

I feel like this story was shallow, not the characters, the story was rushed. Nash coming back for Katie was sweet but Nash left town and was never meantioned in books 2 or 3. It was hard to see Nash as likeable when the residents referred to him as Nash hole. Why was Nash never meantioned in the other books? When did Nash become interested in Katie? Nash and Katies' story deserved better than this rushed, get everybody hooked up for the holidays, unbelievable scenario.

Shallow bore of a read. Where is the romance, intimacy and sex? Pretty boring, my 12 year old niece laughed and said it was too boring to go on reading An adult romance novel without any sex at all? Not even one steamy kiss? It is like the old movies that fade to black. No emotional or physical intimacy between the couple at all, they are more good buddies in junior high that lovers. These so called lovers don't even touch each other, no holding hands, no hugs, cuddles, nothing. Characters are cold, stand offish and about as deep as a shallow puddle. I couldn't even get a 12 year old interested! I skimmed more than read this book. Not worth the free read.

A 7 chapter humorous short story of a nurse and a returned hunk of a nemisis doctor at Christmas time along with a town of unique small town characters. Kissing and hugging. This story can also be found in the .99 boxed set Naughty And Nice. This set contains explicit scenes and language.

Ahhh Katie and Nash there cute. I mean yeah the butted heads and were complete opposites. Just like Katie said how do you get over some one who dated your best friend its kind of hard to get over. I liked Nash and thought it was cute to come back because it missed everyone. Oz omg I still love him he cracks me up. Beth is adorable as ever. I just love the whole tight knit of blueberry springs trying to break Katies Daddy out of the hospital. lol

I really enjoyed the fact that a previous character was brought back and given his happily ever after. A really cute story! Perfect for curling up with some hot chocolate for an hour.

'Eggnog and Candy Canes' (Book 4 in the Blueberry Springs Series) by Jean Oram is a fantastic read. This Christmas novella is great! Trust me, you won't be able to think of monkeys, brownies or lipstick the same again! This story had me cracking up several times and I loved the ending! Awe! Can't wait to see what happens next in Blueberry Springs!
