I lived in an alcoholic family with pain, anxiety, and nervousness, not knowing from one moment to the next if my world was going to be turned upside down. As a little boy I prayed to God as I cried uncontrollably in my bed at night hoping that the screaming and the yelling would stop. Seeing what was happening to my siblings as I was growing up gave me strength and courage. Then at the age of 33 my life would change forever. I was electrocuted.
